The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, November 29 Review - Amanda's Hidden Past - Nick & Chelsea's Tense Holiday - Adam & Phyllis Spar

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Friday, November 29, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have a tough Thanksgiving. The good news is that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will be having a good day, but the tension between Nick and Chelsea will be palpable. They’ll attend the Newman family Thanksgiving celebration at the ranch, and others will detect how strained things are between them.

In fact, before dinner, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will remark that they’re thinking about traveling soon, since Victor has received the all clear from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to travel. They’ll say that they’d like to rent a villa in Switzerland and when asked if Connor would enjoy going, Chelsea will remark that his anxiety is too high right now and he shouldn’t be away from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Nick won’t like this.

Meanwhile, Adam will be spending Thanksgiving alone at his penthouse when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives with Chinese food to share. Adam won’t be particularly happy to see Phyllis, but she’ll barge in and make herself at home. They’ll bicker with each other as Phyllis tells Adam that she feels bad for him – after all, his family begged him to come back to help with Connor, then treats him like an outcast.

Throughout their banter, a few interesting tidbits will be discussed. Phyllis will needle Adam a bit about his association with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), but Adam won’t give up any information per usual. And when Phyllis gripes about how she gets treated, Adam will basically accuse her of installing ransomware or spyware on the hotel’s security system, then wiping the system before Chance could take a look at it.

Phyllis will neither confirm nor deny all of this, but she will say that whatever she did do would have worked if Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) hadn’t come and held everyone hostage. As the two dine together, Adam will remain skeptical about why Phyllis is really there, and they’ll ultimately end dinner with a toast to deserving to get what they want.

Finally, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will host her annual feed the homeless event at Crimson Lights. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will be on hand to help, and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be there as well as Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will arrive as well to help out, which will cause some irritation for Elena, who will tell Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) that Amanda is a snake. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will help serve food as well and will note how many blessings he has, while looking in Lola’s direction. And Elena will end up leaving in a huff when she learns from Nate that Amanda is thinking of staying in Genoa City.

Nate will once again enjoy Amanda’s company and he’ll encourage her to stay in town by offering the services of his real estate agent. He’ll also learn from Amanda that she’s changed her phone number, and when he asks why, she’ll offer a lame excuse about getting lots of marketing calls. Clearly, something else is going on here, and there must be someone whom Amanda is trying to avoid.

Once everyone is gone, Sharon and Rey will muse about how nice the day was. They’ll spend the rest of their Thanksgiving together quietly celebrating, and they’ll end the day on a positive note with a slow dance alone in Crimson Lights.
