The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 25, tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will finally head back to Genoa City. She’ll come at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) request – and it’s a good thing, too. Lily will quickly see just how stressed out Devon is. She’ll want to help, so Devon will give her the scoop on this tricky will situation.
Devon will note that Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) was named the beneficiary according to these authenticated will pages. However, that doesn’t mean Devon’s obligated to do anything about it. Since the statute of limitations has run out, Devon can’t be forced to give Cane money. Even so, Devon will wonder if it’s the right thing to do under the circumstances.
Like Y&R fans, Devon will remain puzzled about why Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) would pick Cane. It’s a baffling decision on Katherine’s part, which makes it seem like it wasn’t her decision at all! This still feels like a scam, so some twist may play out down the road. For now, Devon will want Lily’s advice. He’ll want to know if he should trust Cane and hand over his billions.
Lily will need a little more information before she can offer guidance. Devon will bring up the attorney who unleashed this nightmare, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). There have been doubts about whether she’s truly working for Chance Chancellor. Devon will mention that Amanda looks exactly like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), but Lily will assume that’s a bit of an exaggeration.
Of course, Lily will change her mind when she actually meets Amanda. The Young and the Restless spoilers say a shaken Lily will drop a glass and shatter it. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will also be on hand as Lily grills Amanda and tries to figure out what’s going on. For Lily, it’ll be all about protecting Devon from scams and schemers.
Lily will question Cane eventually, but none of this will matter much in the end. Devon’s the only person who can make this choice. No one else can decide whether he should give up his fortune, so he’ll just have to mull it over and make the call for himself.
Jill will side with Cane, but she may argue she’s really on Katherine’s side. Jill will just want to make sure Katherine’s true wishes are carried out.
