The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the CBS soap is playing up an interesting angle. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was initially drawn to Lola Rosales – now Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) – as someone different than any woman he’d ever met. However, Kyle’s currently being pulled toward Summer Newman (Hunter King) because they’re so much alike.
It makes sense to take the story in this direction. Kyle credits Lola with changing him, but the truth is they grew up in different worlds. They can’t change their childhoods or anything that brought them to this point in their lives.
When Kyle checked out houses online with Summer, he noted that he wasn’t fond of the craftsman. Summer wasn’t either, but Lola immediately singled it out as one of her favorites. It was a little detail that served as a nice hint.
Money Issues Have Always Plagued Kola’s Relationship
We also got a familiar taste of Lola being somewhat put off by the Abbotts’ way of life. Lola doesn’t want an outrageous amount of space, but Kyle doesn’t see why they can’t have a big house with room to grow. His motto is: If they can afford it, why not? The Young and the Restless is subtly bringing back the money issue that’s always plagued “Kola’s” relationship.
Of course, Summer and Kyle both grew up with money, so it’s normal to them. They come from wealthy backgrounds and can understand having to prove themselves to their complicated families. Y&R’s setting Summer and Kyle up as the new couple here. It’s just a matter of time until Kyle and Lola call it quits.
There’s been plenty of talk about “Kola” kids lately, especially after that pregnancy scare. Lola seems poised to get pregnant for real, but what if the story heads down a different path? Summer was surprised by Kyle’s admission that they wanted a house in a good school district. He assured Summer they were just thinking about the future, but perhaps the future’s closer than Kyle thinks.
Summer Newman And Kyle Abbott Baby Would Bring Them Closer
It’s doubtful Y&R will saddle Kyle with Lola’s baby if they’re not the pairing to root for. She could miscarry or get pregnant by Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), but there’s another option to consider. Could Summer end up pregnant instead? If Kyle cheats with Summer or sleeps with her after separating from Lola, there could be a pregnancy twist.
A Summer and Kyle baby could bring them closer than ever. It just might convince them that they’re meant to be! Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say “Kola’s” destruction seems imminent. Summer should be part of the reason why, so don’t miss what’s in store.
