The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 24, teases that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have a lot on his mind. He’ll ponder this will situation and the moral decision it’s brought with it. However, Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) issues will soon become the priority. She’ll find out Jett Slade (Gilbert Glenn Brown) may have cancer, so she’ll break down in tears and make plans to go be with him.
Devon will assure Elena that he can take care of the travel arrangements and pay for Jett’s treatment. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will vow to watch out for Devon while she’s gone. Before Elena leaves to board the jet, Devon will wonder what she’d do if she were him. Elena won’t feel comfortable making that call for Devon. However, she’ll point him in the direction of someone who could help.
After Devon admits he doesn’t trust Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), Elena will note that Devon should talk to somebody who knows Cane and knew Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) quite well. He’ll determine that Elena means Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will indeed arrive back in town this Friday.
Until then, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will break some bad news to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She’ll reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is back in Genoa City and express concern over Billy’s mental state. Billy lost control the last time Adam resurfaced, but he’ll feel like everything’s under control now. He’ll do his best to reassure Victoria about what’s ahead.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will talk to Summer Newman (Hunter King) at Jabot. They’ll discuss business and then house hunting. After Kyle mentions the house Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wanted to give them as a wedding present, there’ll be some awkward moments. However, Summer will ultimately brush past the discomfort and suggest it’s all in the past.
Once Billy appears, Kyle will notice he seems irritable. He’ll manage to get on Billy’s bad side, so another confrontation is on the way. Billy will feel like Kyle needs to work his way up. Kyle will think it seems like Billy’s just waiting for him to fall on his face. Y&R spoilers say Billy will confirm it and rant about too much power being given to Kyle.
Meanwhile, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will spot Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) dining at Society, so she’ll offer a warning. She’ll point out that Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) isn’t there and suggest that Theo had better not make trouble. Abby will plan to make Theo regret it if he hurts Lola, but he’ll be apologetic for how things went down before.
Talk will turn to Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and how Abby was able to remain pals with Lola despite her brother’s behavior. It’ll give Theo hope that he can make amends with Kyle, but Abby won’t buy that they were ever really friends at all. Next, Abby will take a moment to catch up with Victoria. They’ll gab about their very different love lives before Abby gives permanent CEO Vick her seal of approval.
Afterward, Summer and Theo will approach Victoria with some congratulatory words. Theo will be eager to chat about branding, but he’ll eventually step away with Summer. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo will mention how badly he’d like to work at Newman. Summer will argue that Victoria can be cutthroat – perhaps even more than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Jabot is right where Summer wants to be, and she’ll be sure to say so. The conversation will shift to Abby, so Summer will rehash Abby sleeping with Austin Travers (Matthew Atkinson). Theo will pull out his phone and text Lola to let her know she’s missed.
