The Young and the Restless Spoilers: J.T. Alive and Out for Blood – Victor and Nick Stand Together In Final Showdown

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will hope to take charge of a dangerous situation. He’ll have Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to back him up as he ponders a mystery. They have to figure out who framed Victor and would resort to kidnapping Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri).

Someone is exploiting J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) death to get revenge on Victor, but there’s a good chance it’s J.T. himself. There are a few reasons why this outcome makes sense. For starters, Nick offered up a list of other possibilities. That list included Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), Ian Ward (Ray Wise), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva).

Any of those characters would’ve provided a real shocker. It’s tough to believe Y&R would let Nick casually mention them if they were actually going to make one of them the culprit. They would ruin the surprise by bringing up the framer ahead of time like that.

Since an Adam Newman recast is likely in the works at The Young and the Restless, some viewers have suggested him as well. However, it doesn’t quite add up for this particular story. Adam’s beef would be with solely with Victor. It’d be weird for him to go around tormenting the cover-up crew and pulling all this J.T. evidence out of nowhere.

Plus, the J.T. storyline will probably be wrapped up before Adam makes his potential comeback. Adam’s return may be the story that takes the place of this one. It’d be big enough on its own, so there’s no need to insert Adam into an already mysterious and dramatic saga. That’d just be a waste.

J.T. would have the security knowledge needed to get away with the kidnapping and all the spying. He’d be able to plant the bloody shirt and his own dirty clothes in Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) bed. J.T. would know exactly what the murder weapon was. He’d be ruthless enough to set the stables on fire and abduct Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) child as part of his plot. No one knows where J.T.’s body is, so a return from the dead is certainly still on the table.

If we’re reaching this conclusion, when will Victor reach it as well? Will he ultimately realize J.T. could be alive and out for revenge? Will it be Nick who figures it out instead? Two Newmans are better than one, so Victor and Nick should stand against J.T. together if he’s back. Whether J.T. tips them off or they just catch on, they may know what they’re up against soon.
