The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will be miserable. Summer Newman (Hunter King) has forced them into a horrible situation, so they’ll have to find a way to deal with it. Kyle loves Lola and wants to be with her, but he also wants to honor the commitment he made to Summer. She kept her part of the deal, so it’s Kyle’s turn.
However, that won’t make it hurt any less. Kyle will undoubtedly pine for Lola as Summer tries to make him see the light. She’s convinced that Kyle will learn to love her, which may or may not be true. Kyle was obsessed with getting Summer back for quite some time. He seems to care about her deep down, but does he care enough to truly get over losing Lola?
Kyle may find it hard to let himself fall for Summer since she schemed her way into this. Regardless, Lola can’t be expected to wait on Kyle. She might end up turning to another man for comfort and sparking some jealousy in the process. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that could lead to big changes.
Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) was sent on tour after some missteps at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) label. After that tour’s over, Y&R could always bring him back to comfort Lola. Fen was hoping to win Lola over before he left town, so he’d be a good option for her. He probably wouldn’t mind being the backup boyfriend.
Then again, there might be someone else Lola could fall for – or at least settle for. This would mostly be a plot point to reunite Kyle and Lola anyway. Jealousy can be a very powerful motivator. Would seeing Lola move on force Kyle to rethink things? He might decide to bail on his deal with Summer and go after what he wants.
Summer can’t take her liver back, so why shouldn’t Kyle ditch her? If Summer were a decent human being, she would’ve saved Lola’s life with no strings attached. Kyle really should’ve called Summer’s bluff. It’s tough to believe she would’ve actually let Lola die, but then again…who knows with Summer!
Whatever the case, the liver transplant’s over and they have to thinking about the future. Will Kyle and Lola manage to overcome their sneaky blonde obstacle? The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer had better stay on guard! We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
