The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 15, tease that a family secret will come to light. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will share something important from his past, which probably means he’ll confide in Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). She’s the person he’s closest to in Genoa City, and Sharon will undoubtedly be more curious now that Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) is in town.
Sharon may sense that Rey’s holding back during a conversation about his mother. She might gently nudge Rey to open up and trust her enough to divulge what’s bothering him. Rey hates his old man with a passion, so he might share something related to Papa Rosales and what he put their family through. He feels like his father has a way of sucking Celeste back in – just like he’s doing now.
Rey may also mention that his dad wants to walk Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) down the aisle at her wedding and has been bugging Celeste for money. It’s clear that Rey and Lola’s father hasn’t learned much in the years since bailing on his family. Rey’s dealing with a lot of unresolved anger and pain, so this could be a sign that we’ll see his dad hit town eventually. It could provide some drama and closure.
In the meantime, everything Rey’s dealing with could show off his vulnerable side. Sharon tends to be drawn to that in men, so it could help ease the recent conflict between them. There’s definitely been some tension due to Sharon’s lingering connection with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey and Sharon will patch things up soon, so that’s great news for “Shey” fans. Of course, the peace probably won’t last! Something tells us Adam will be pulled back in Sharon’s direction before long. That’s because Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will stand firm on her rejection and lean on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) instead.
Y&R fans can expect Adam to struggle with the double blow. It looks like Chelsea may chew Adam out on Monday after another desperate plea. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will be left disheartened and lonely, but Chelsea won’t care. She doesn’t feel she can trust Adam, so she’ll be fine with his growing sorrow.
