The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some surprises are looming. During the week of December 30-January 3, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will find out about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) proposition. He tried to nudge Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) into seducing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so Chelsea certainly isn’t going to approve.
Nick will give Chelsea updates and insist Adam’s trying to get back together. After Chelsea confronts Adam, he won’t deny it. Adam will regret how he handled things with Phyllis, but he’ll be adamant that Chelsea loves him deep down. He’ll kiss Chelsea in an effort to convince her they’re meant to be, but she’ll take off and advise Adam not to attend Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) New Year’s Eve party.
Adam will attend anyway, so there’s sure to be a little drama! Nick will realize his future with Chelsea is slipping right through his fingers – and there may be nothing he can do about it. Chelsea will end the night watching fireworks with Adam, so it’s good that Nick’s starting to face the facts.
As for Phyllis, she’ll make some moves on “Chance” Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and hope she can pry that juicy Vegas secret out of him. While Phyllis gets her flirt on, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will enjoy ringing in the new year. They’ll be looking stylish as they celebrate the start of 2020.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will also have something to celebrate thanks to Chloe’s pregnancy. They’ll spread the word, so their friends and family will be overjoyed right along with them.
Over with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), they’ll be forced to tackle their issues. Sadly, Victoria never even knew they had them!
Billy will come clean about what a mess he is inside and bail on his New Year’s Eve plans. He’ll decide he’d rather spend time with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) instead. Billy may leave Victoria wondering if their almost marriage is kaput.
As for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), a stunning discovery will leave her on edge. This could set up the medical storyline that’s supposed to be coming up for Sharon – and Y&R buzz suggests it’ll be cancer. Sharon will keep her potential health woes under wraps for the time being.
Meanwhile, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will get an unsettling text from a musician she used to know. Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) is a popular recording artist now, but Tessa won’t appreciate it when he sends her a message. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be excited about this potential collaboration, but she’ll immediately pick up on Tessa’s weird vibe. She won’t get why Tessa isn’t over the moon about this.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tessa will be uneasy as she sits down for a meeting with Tanner. He’ll claim he merely heard Tessa’s music and wants her to be his opening act on tour. However, Tessa won’t buy that’s all Tanner wants. She’ll keep her guard up since this offer could come with unpleasant strings attached.
Later, Mariah will learn something shocking. She’ll become privy to a secret, so Tessa may fill Mariah in on why she’s so wary of Tanner. During the week of January 6-10, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will deliver a warning. Since Nikki’s always quick to offer advice to her children, perhaps Nick or Victoria will be on the receiving end. Either one could stand to be warned about partners they can’t trust.
As for Billy, he’ll confide in Chloe and hopefully get some advice as well. Y&R fans can expect a startling find to unnerve Victoria, so that may involve evidence of Billy’s bond with Amanda. Victoria could easily suspect an affair’s been going on.
Back with Sharon, some alarming news will come in. It sounds like Sharon will face a terrible diagnosis and wonder what she’s going to do. Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will return to Genoa City. She’ll surely pay Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) a visit and weigh in on all the Amanda mayhem.
