The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, October 10 Recap – Connor’s Behaviour Blowup – Adam Suspected in Chance Bomb

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 10, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will explain the reason for Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) arrival. She’ll let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) know Cane’s looking for Chance Chancellor and confess that she overheard him back in GC. Adam will insist he can’t help Cane before he heads out to lock up his winnings.

That’ll give Cane and Phyllis a chance to grill each other. Phyllis will push Cane to reveal why he wants to see Chance. He’ll be more interested in how much Phyllis is in the loop on. Phyllis will explain how she knew about Chance and Adam’s connection before talk turns to Riza Thompson. She’ll admit the woman’s not keen on discussing anything.

Cane will hint that maybe they could be allies, but Phyllis will refuse to be his lackey. Moments later, Adam will return and reiterate that Cane’s barking up the wrong tree. Chance doesn’t want to be found. However, Cane will point out that Chance dropped a bomb before he vanished. He’ll suggest that people, including the police, may grow curious about Adam’s involvement with Chance.

After Cane takes off, Phyllis will push Adam to tell her the truth. She’ll wonder if Adam played any role in the bombshell Cane talked about. Adam will insist he’s in the dark and has put Genoa City behind him, but Phyllis won’t stop searching for answers.

Back in GC, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will come home from school early after acting out. He’ll yell at Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) before stomping off to his room. Chelsea will be concerned about Connor’s disruptive behavior, so she’ll pick up the phone and summon Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Sharon will agree to head over and have another chat with Connor ASAP.

While they await Sharon’s arrival, Chelsea will express her gratitude to Nick. She’ll think it was a great idea to bring Sharon in on this. Nick will blame Adam for causing constant sorrow, but Chelsea will battle some guilt of her own. She’ll feel like she let her son down, but she’ll he hopeful once Sharon shows up. It won’t be long until Sharon’s chatting with Connor and urging him to open up.

Sharon will note that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has been struggling over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death, too. She’ll talk about Faith being upset, but Connor will insist that’s not the case for him. Afterward, Sharon will give Chelsea updates on her talk with Connor. She’ll be worried about Connor repressing his emotions and will leave Chelsea fearful that Connor’s becoming like Adam.

Sharon will argue that the harmful cycle can be broken, but Chelsea will remain distraught. Once she’s alone with Nick, Chelsea will suggest she’s left to pick up the shattered pieces now that Adam’s disappeared. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will offer Chelsea reassurance. He’ll be confident they can give Connor the support he needs.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will learn Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) got fired by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Summer Newman (Hunter King) will fill Kyle in before suggesting she was a bit harsh with Theo. Kyle will feel like Summer’s wasting her time if she expects Theo to change. He won’t believe Theo is capable of letting his walls down, so he’ll argue Summer deserves more.

At Society, Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will get the scoop on Theo’s firing. Theo will tell Lola that it’ll only make him more motivated. He’ll guess Lola succeeded by proving everyone wrong, too. That’ll soften Lola a bit and she’ll even laugh as Theo gives his view on manipulation. Nevertheless, Lola will ultimately get serious and suggest Theo needs to stop digging holes for himself. This pattern of crossing lines needs to stop.

Lola will feel like Theo wants to keep sabotaging himself, but he’ll joke about her being a lousy shrink. Next, Kyle will arrive and grow agitated. Theo will draw attention to all the time Kyle’s been spending with Summer. He’ll add that he’s enjoyed getting to know Lola better before heading out. Through the window, Theo will gaze in at Lola and Kyle as they share a kiss.

At the coffeehouse, Lola will bring up Theo’s firing to Kyle. Y&R spoilers say Kyle won’t think anyone should care, but Lola will feel like this could be the wakeup call Theo needs. Lola will hope for growth in Theo, but Kyle will remain doubtful about that.
