The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 21, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a big announcement to make. Monday’s episode brings the return of Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) memories, so that’ll be a gamechanger for the Newman clan. They’ll have a family meeting on Tuesday to discuss where they go from here.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will remain skeptical that Adam ever lost his memories in the first place. He’ll feel like Adam is manipulating the situation and using Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) emotions to his advantage. Nick will also be more concerned about Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) and the custody situation.
Adam didn’t feel much of anything when he met Christian. He told Victor that Christian was just another kid to him. Now Christian will matter to Adam, which poses a risk to Nick and Christian’s father-son bond. Nick may not be Christian’s biological dad, but he has every intention of keeping the boy he’s been raising. He’ll start crafting a defense strategy to make sure Christian stays in his care.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will grow increasingly fearful about Adam’s place at Newman Enterprises. She knows how Victor operates. When Adam’s around and willing to play by Victor’s rules, no other Newman can compete. Victor always plays favorites when it comes to Adam, so Victoria will prepare herself for the brewing storm.
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be happy she’s finally being included for once. She’ll note that even an amnesiac Adam was playing high-stakes poker in Vegas. At his core, Adam’s a guy who likes to take risks. Abby will suggest that Adam thrives on danger. She won’t believe Adam’s settled down or changed like Victor assumes.
Even Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will side with the rest of the family on this. She’ll get that Victor is thrilled to have his son back, but that doesn’t change Adam’s history. Nikki won’t think Victor can expect Nick and the others to just forget the past.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will lash out in frustration, but he’ll ultimately have to accept the fam’s feelings. Victor will just hope he can help Adam prove himself sooner or later. Of course, that plan could backfire. Victor will work hard to rebuild Adam’s life, which could bring out the worst in his son. When Victor’s pulling the strings, things tent to head in a ruthless direction!
Over with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll play Cupid just like she planned. Will she find some lucky lady for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)? There may be some Y&R day player that Lauren deems the perfect fit, but it won’t pan out. That’d be far too easy!
Will Lauren find herself falling for Jack instead? That could be an option as this storyline moves forward, but other possibilities could open up to Jack down the road.
