The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 21, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have another meeting. At Crimson Lights, they’ll once again discuss the topic of their back-from-the-dead brother. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) presence in Genoa City will continue to leave them with concerns.
Victoria will reassure Nick about Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen), but she’ll still have some fears about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan. It’s clear that Victor wants Adam back in the Newman fold ASAP. Victoria will have to stay on guard since Victor’s pushing so hard for Adam’s return to Newman Enterprises.
At the hospital, Adam will tell Victor that he remembers all of it. He’ll be overwhelmed by the memory flood and understand why everyone’s been so outraged. Victor will just be eager to start fresh as father and son.
Next, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will pop in. Adam will let Sharon know he recalls the terrible things he did to her. He won’t think Sharon should’ve forgiven him, but Sharon will insist that was her choice to make. Y&R spoilers say Sharon will note that they got through it once and can do it again.
After Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) shows up and Adam asks about his phone, Sharon will offer to go get it for him. Once Sharon’s gone, Paul will ask Adam a few questions about the shooting. Adam will claim he doesn’t know who shot him, but he’ll blame one of his many enemies from Vegas. He’ll suggest that someone out to get “Spider” must’ve followed him to GC.
When Sharon returns with Adam’s phone, she’ll wonder what his next move is. Adam will admit he’s not planning to leave town right away. Once Adam is alone, he’ll make a shocking phone call. His mysterious partner will presumably be on the other end. Adam will fill this person in on the shooting and explain that he knows exactly who did it. However, he’ll insist on handling this himself.
Adam will add that he wants the investigation shut down, so he needs a fall guy. He’ll task his partner with finding one. Across town, a Newman family meeting will get underway. Victor will encourage Victoria, Nick, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to be more welcoming. He won’t like the anti-Adam attitude they’ve all giving him.
Victor will argue that there’s no reason to fear Adam and try to put the matter to rest. Of course, that won’t stop the Newman clan from staying on guard. Victor will blame jealousy once he’s alone with Nikki, but she’ll defend Adam’s siblings. She’ll argue that Victor should do a better job of reassuring them.
Back at the hospital, Adam will get a visit from Victoria. He’ll be sorry about the past and even wish he couldn’t recall it. Victoria will point out that she can’t forget what Adam’s done, and she won’t let him hurt her loved ones again.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will put a plan in motion. She’ll introduce Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to Claire (Kristen Casey), a lovely lady she wants to set him up with. While out to lunch at Society, Lauren will get some help from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). He’ll summon her away from the table so Jack and Claire can have some alone time.
After Jack talks to Claire a bit more, he’ll realize Lauren set them up and Claire will confirm it’s true. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will pass on attending a promotional event in Chicago with Claire. He’ll suggest he’s got too much going on with work, but he’ll vow to keep Claire’s card.
Back at Jabot, Jack will assure Lauren he’s not irritated about her matchmaking. He’s just busy with business right now. Despite Lauren’s protests, Jack will stand his ground. Lauren will kiss Jack’s cheek before she meets up with Michael, who will promise to take her dancing later.
Meanwhile, Jack will contemplate his options as he gazes at Claire’s card and Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) note. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Jack’s future bring some interesting twists and turns. We’ll give you update as other Y&R news comes in.
