The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will continue to enjoy domestic bliss. They’re over the moon about living together, but there isn’t much drama going on. The most exciting thing that’s happened for “Kola” lately is assembling a bookcase, so Y&R definitely needs to spice it up!
Of course, there’s an easy way to do that. Summer Newman (Hunter King) has faded to the background right now, but she’ll once again be front and center soon. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will cause a few bumps in the road for Kyle and Lola. Their newfound happiness will really drive Summer up the wall, so she’ll stir up trouble whenever she can.
However, Summer could cause the most trouble when she’s not even trying. Lola and Kyle will manage to stay strong through Summer’s first minor hurdles, but the biggest one will come when Summer finally moves on. Her romance with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will undoubtedly get Kyle’s attention.
Lola will probably think this is a great sign. She may believe Summer will focus on her new man and stay away from her old one. Kyle may agree to Lola’s face, but he’ll probably be jealous deep down. Y&R fans know Summer and Kyle had a deep connection once upon a time. That hasn’t gone away entirely, even though Kyle now loves and is devoted to Lola.
Naturally, jealousy will be exactly what Summer has in mind – at least at first. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Summer could shift her perspective in time. It looks like she’ll truly begin to fall for Theo, so she may forget all about her ex. Summer may truly believe she needs to put Kyle in the rearview mirror.
How will Kyle feel once Summer’s cozied up to another man and not interested in him at all? His ego will take a hit, so that could factor in here. Kyle could also find himself feeling like Summer was right. She assured Kyle that he would get bored with Lola eventually. Their life is pretty darn boring now, so Kyle could worry that he’s made a big mistake if the snoozefest keeps up.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest a “Kola” engagement is coming, but there are no guarantees on a wedding. Will Kyle sabotage himself thanks to Summer’s sizzling new romance? Summer just might find love with Theo AND destroy Kyle’s relationship with Lola, which would be the sweetest revenge!
