Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is about to make a big comeback to the show. As you know if you’ve seen the DOOL summer preview, Sami is going to come back to Salem in a very big way. “Hurricane Sami” is set to return on Tuesday, July 14th for her first airdate, and it’s sure to be one heck of a return!
As DOOL viewers know, Sami’s daughter Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has recently arrived in Salem and she’s expecting a baby, but she hasn’t told Sami that she’s pregnant.
In fact, Allie seems to be living under the illusion that she’s going to keep Sami from finding out about her pregnancy, even though she plans on giving birth and having Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) adopt her baby.
Of course, Rafe hasn’t decided on whether he even wants to adopt Allie’s baby – Rafe is still coping with the loss of David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) from his life, and he simply may not be ready to have another child at this point.
Plus, Rafe has some totally understandable trepidation about adopting Sami’s grandchild, as he knows that there’s just NO WAY that Sami’s going to go for that.
Well, it should be interesting to see what Sami’s reaction to Allie’s pregnancy is. Allie is assuming that her mother will be completely overbearing and controlling about the situation, and she’d rather that her mom not know, but how realistic is that?
Allie seems to be in for a rude awakening when Sami shows up in Salem, and it won’t be long before Sami sees that Allie is pregnant.
But will Sami really be as overbearing as Allie thinks she will be? After all, Sami was in a similar situation back when she was a teen. In fact, Sami was even younger than Allie is now when she had Will Horton (Chandler Massey).
Sami was 16 years old when she got pregnant with Will, so she might have some natural compassion for Allie. But what Sami might not understand is Allie’s desire to give her baby up for adoption.
We’ll see what happens here, but Sami could surprise everyone and actually come through as a sensitive, caring mom for Allie. It could be a fun twist, given that everyone is expecting Sami to come in like a wrecking ball and try to take over Allie’s life. Whatever the case, Sami’s on her way, and viewers will soon get to see the fan-favorite character back in action.
Of course, the DOOL summer preview also showed Sami physically attacking Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), although this could be part of a dream sequence on the part of Nicole and end up being a big fake-out.
DOOL spoilers indicate that Nicole and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) wedding celebration might go off without a hitch, so we’ll see.
