Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Brock Kelly Reveals Evan Frears Return Ideas – Will Join Another Soap, But Loyal To DOOL

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star is speaking out as his exit draws near. DOOL fans know Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) couldn’t stop a jury from delivering a guilty verdict, so Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) got 20 years behind bars. That means Evan will be stuck at Statesville for the foreseeable future, but he has some final scenes coming up on May 21.

Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will get some stunning news in the week ahead as he learns Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) is innocent. Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is actually the reason Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) is dead – and Evan helped his dad cover up the truth.

This is especially appalling since Will Horton (Chandler Massey) originally thought he was to blame for the crash. Evan looked Sonny straight in the eye and comforted him! He knew the entire time that Orpheus was to blame and never said a word. Evan had the power to end Sonny’s suffering all along, so Sonny will unleash his wrath in one last faceoff.

That’ll mark the end of the road for Evan, but would Brock Kelly be willing to make a Days comeback someday? “Well, let’s see how he gets out of prison, right?” Kelly said in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest. “Of course, I mean, I would love to come back. Is his father involved? Does he throw himself out? How is it going to happen?”

What about another soap? Would Kelly be willing to head over to General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful or The Young and the Restless? Kelly admitted he’d go for the idea, but his loyalty to Days comes first.

“I love soaps,” Kelly insisted. “I love that platform. Of course, I would love to do another soap, but I’m so loyal to Days of Our Lives, so I would hope to stick around with them rather than jump ship.”

Kelly also offered some interesting tidbits about the audition process and some shockers he faced once he scored the role. The DOOL actor admitted he thought the character was going in a different direction based on the material he was initially given.

Kelly never expected to get the emotional, gripping material that ultimately came with all these twists and turns, so he was “pleasantly surprised.” Many Days viewers were surprised as well when Sonny’s new love interest turned dark thanks to some wild revelations.

Again, you can catch Brock Kelly’s final scenes as Evan aka Christian on May 21. As other DOOL news pops up, we’ll provide updates.
