Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis’ (Freddie Smith) exit will give Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) a built-in reason to leave. DOOL fans know all three of them are exiting soon, but it looks like Gabi’s departure will fall a bit behind Will and Sonny’s.
After Sonny receives what appears to be a job offer that’s too good to turn down, he’ll apparently decide to move away with Will. That should lead to serious custody drama with Gabi, who’ll probably argue that Sonny and Will should stay.
Whether they want to take Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) with them or leave Ari in Gabi’s full-time care, neither arrangement is a good one.
It seems like there are a couple of different options to consider for Gabi’s exit. It’s possible that Ari will indeed end up going with Will and Sonny to whatever city they move to.
Days of Our Lives might let Gabi try to cope in Salem on her own for a bit, but she might ultimately decide being near her daughter is more important. In the end, maybe Gabi will simply make the move as well.
On the other hand, it’s also possible that Arianna will stay with Gabi and become quite distraught over missing her daddies. Gabi might see that keeping Ari separated from Will and Sonny just isn’t going to work. For her daughter’s sake, Gabi might take Arianna to live in Will and Sonny’s new town.
Of course, it’s also possible that Gabi’s exit will somehow play a role in whatever comes up for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), which should be related to Eduardo Hernandez’s (A Martinez) return. However, it may just be that Rafe’s exit leaves Gabi without any real friends or family in town.
Without anything tying her to Salem – and perhaps after a big DiMera Enterprises defeat – Gabi might opt to hit the road. Regardless, there’s a good chance Gabi’s exit will involve this tricky situation with Ari, Will and Sonny.
Days may have created that as a departure reason for Gabi in the event Banus didn’t accept the pay cut she was reportedly offered – and she obviously didn’t.
On the bright side, it’d be easy to undo an exit like that if Days of Our Lives later works out a deal with Banus. Something could bring Gabi back to Salem eventually, so we’ll see how it goes! We’ll deliver Days updates as other news emerges.
