Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a recent promo teases some exciting Salem comebacks. One of those comebacks is JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), so JJ will return to DOOL this fall – and there are some good reasons why!
For starters, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is headed back to Salem on September 4. With Abigail on canvas again, it makes sense to put JJ in the mix again, too. Days of Our Lives is gearing up for a heartfelt Deveraux family reunion.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) adore their children, so they’ll certainly be happy to have them home. A recovered Abigail is set to emerge from a treatment facility in Florida – and she’ll find a lot has changed at the DiMera mansion!
As for JJ, he never returned after leaving town for Bill Horton’s funeral. Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) mentioned that JJ was spending some time in South Africa with Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis), so hopefully it’s been good for JJ to rest and recharge.
JJ went through a rough time after Haley Chen’s (Thia Megia) death, so this break has probably been helpful.
Nevertheless, this is the perfect time to check in with Abigail following her drugging ordeal. Maybe JJ can even help crack the case of who was behind it! This former detective is usually pretty good at that sort of thing.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers point to a major fall story for Jack and Jennifer. It sounds like something they’ll want their whole family around for, so it’s nice that JJ’s returning along with Abigail. There’s no word on JJ’s exact airdate back yet – and no one can say for sure how long JJ will stick around.
However, it’s definitely something to look forward to as things heat up this fall. After the doom-and-gloom departure news of the last few months, it’s great to have some returns to talk about! JJ’s comeback should be a welcome one for many DOOL fans out there. We’ll keep you in the loop as other Days updates become available.
