Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) will have to make some tough choices about what’s ahead. Abigail was given a DiMera-developed drug that led to hallucinations, but her loved ones were hopeful everything would be fine once it was out of her system.
Sadly, that hasn’t been the case since the hallucinations have persisted. Abigail can’t carry on like this, so she’ll have to have a difficult conversation with Chad. The good news is there’ll be a treatment that might work for Abigail. The bad news is Abigail will likely have to receive it elsewhere.
During the week of May 18-22, Chad and Abigail will come together to discuss what the right call is. Abigail should be wary of getting locked up in another horrible mental institution. She hadn’t had very good experiences at the ones she’s been treated at, but this may be a completely different situation.
It’s even possible Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) could once again step up for Abigail. Depending on what time of treatment this is, it could be a scenario where Abigail can stay in Laura’s care. Then again, there might be a truly good facility that would appeal to Abigail. The main thing is getting Abigail healthy and back to her family.
However, we have to point out the obvious here. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail is leaving Salem for now, but Chad will stay behind. What kind of stories will Chad be involved in without Abigail around? Abigail should be back down the road, but a lot can happen between now and then.
Will Chad stay faithful to Abigail while she’s out of the picture? Abby is clearly the love of Chad’s life, but they’ve faced some challenges due to her mental health issues and times like this when they’re forced apart. Chad could battle some loneliness if Days wants to take the story in that direction.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say some romantic bombshells will drop in the months ahead. There’ll be some surprising people paired up that may leave some viewers scratching their heads.
DOOL has some big changes in mind, so we have to wonder if “Chabby” might be in jeopardy. With one half of the popular pairing off canvas, that’s certainly an option to consider.
