Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star is dealing with a tough family crisis. DOOL fans know Chrishell Stause as Jordan Ridgeway in Salem. Despite her grim exit before the time jump, Jordan remains a crucial part of the story on Days of Our Lives.
Sadly, Stause’s real-life drama is hitting her hard right now. The latest blow involves a difficult diagnosis for her mother, who only has a month or two left to live.
Stause opened up about her struggles in a new Instagram post and got plenty of support from fans, including many Days of Our Lives viewers. She also offered words of encouragement for anyone affected by cancer and the toll it takes.
“I just found out today is #worldcancerday eerily on the same day I found out my mom has 1 to 2 months to live from the same lung cancer that took my dad on Easter,” Stause said. “I can’t make sense of what life is teaching me yet, but my heart is with every person fighting this horrible disease and every person that it robbed a loved one from.”
In the comments, fans did their best to lift Stause up and make her feel loved. “You poor thing…you’ve had so much heartbreak thrown your way in the last 9 months!” one fan said. “Please know that there are loads of us sending positive thoughts and prayers.”
“I’m so sorry to hear, no other words come to mind other than unfair and heartbreaking,” one more fan insisted. “Oh my,” said another. “This is horrible to hear and I’m Heartbroken for all your heartbreak this past year.”
This comes on the heels of Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless) filing for divorce just a few months ago, so it’s awful that Stause has been hit with more emotional turmoil.
If there’s a silver lining, it’s that Stause’s message touched some hearts out there. Several posters chimed in with their own stories of loss and connected with Stause over what she’s going through.
