Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will play a crucial role in the hunt for Gwen (Emily O’Brien). DOOL fans know Claire’s become friends with Gwen at Bayview, where the girls like to gossip, gab and share.
During the week of June 8-12, Claire will make Gwen pinky-swear to keep her secret. In return, Claire will promise to keep Gwen’s secret, too. Of course, there’s no confirmation on what secrets they’ll be talking about, but Claire’s already revealed her hidden agenda to Gwen.
Claire is obsessed with getting on Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) good side again. She likes the idea of becoming a bridesmaid or even Ciara’s maid of honor. Claire wants to reclaim her status as Ciara’s bestie and put her crazy days behind her.
Days viewers also know Claire stole the save-the-date card from Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) old therapist. If anyone besides Gwen heard about that, it could come across as not very healthy behavior. Claire will really be on edge about the image she’s going to present since this release is on a trial basis.
As for Gwen, she’s Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) ex-girlfriend and has undoubtedly told Claire secrets that relate to him. Claire might’ve even shared something about this valuable item she stole from Jake.
It’ll be interesting to see exactly how much Claire knows, but she at least knows Gwen’s location – and that’s what’s most important right now.
Jake will tell Ben and Ciara that their best chance of saving Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) is finding Gwen. Bayview is probably the last place they’d think of, so that’s where Claire will come in.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will offer up some critical info on June 16. In an effort to show Ciara she can be compassionate and helpful, it looks like Claire will betray Gwen by revealing her location.
It’s easy to imagine Claire overhearing something about Gwen and Jake, so that should catch her attention assuming Gwen’s divulged her ex’s name. Ciara might express her frustration to Ben and insist that they have to find Gwen ASAP. That’s when Claire could pipe up that she knows where Gwen is.
It could be the start of Ciara trusting Claire a bit more, although that trust will be broken again later.
For now, it seems Claire will throw Gwen under the bus for the sake of her own agenda. How’s Gwen going to feel about Claire telling Jake’s she’s at Bayview? That’s probably not something Gwen would want, but it should be OK since it’ll work out in her favor eventually.
Gwen will apparently try to get Jake back, so this could be the start of her own plan. Claire may inadvertently help put it in motion, so Gwen might be grateful – at least until it goes south! Gwen could certainly wind up blaming Claire on some level if this reunion doesn’t pan out.
