Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will get a chance at redemption. DOOL fans know Claire’s faced a mountain of suspicions ever since she was released from Bayview. To be fair, things started going wrong as soon as Claire took over maid of honor duties.
Many Days viewers have been fooled right along with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), which is exactly what the show was hoping for. This storyline was all about misdirection so the real sabotage culprit could be a big surprise – and it’ll indeed be a big surprise to Ben!
After the upcoming wedding explosion, newly married Ben will find himself held hostage somewhere. As Ben’s history comes back to haunt him, a familiar face will be revealed to viewers.
Since Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) due back on screen any day now, Ben’s captor must be this bitter mom – back to avenge Paige Larson’s (True O’Brien) death.
Meanwhile, Claire will help Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) crack the case of who took Ben, but what happens then? Will Claire be able to track down Eve’s hideout? Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eve will most likely plan to kill Ben once she’s finished punishing him.
Perhaps Claire will arrive just in time to plead for Ben’s life! It makes sense to put Claire in a situation like that for a couple reasons. For starters, Claire and Eve actually had a nice bond before Claire went to Bayview.
Although Eve enabled Claire and kept her from getting the help she needed, that’s only because Eve could relate to her. Eve could understand how pain would drive Claire to do horrible things – just like pain’s driving Eve to do this to Ben now.
Claire was almost like a fill-in daughter for Eve, who was desperate for a child to love after Paige’s demise. In other words, if there’s one person Eve will listen to – it’s Claire.
Plus, Ben has been absolutely awful to Claire from the moment she reentered Ciara’s orbit. Ben’s always been quick to accuse and assume the worst.
What better way to make Ben eat crow than for Claire to save him from a grim fate? Maybe Eve will be holding a gun on Ben when Claire arrives. Claire might work to calm Eve down and point out that she’s been in her shoes.
Eve may think this will make the pain go away, but it won’t – just like it wouldn’t have solved anything if Claire had killed Ciara.
In fact, Claire’s grateful every day that she didn’t make that fatal mistake. She won’t want Eve to make one either.
Claire might argue that Paige would want Eve to let go of her anger and move on with her life. This could be a real turning point for Eve, so Ben may have Claire to thank for rescuing him.
Will Days turn Claire into the hero of this story? Will this help Claire truly make amends with Ciara and Ben?
