Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) relationship has shifted. Now that Gabi knows Jake isn’t Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), she’s definitely chilled out. Gabi was so caught up in trying to bring her dead husband back that she overwhelmed Jake, who previously pushed her away.
Now that the pressure’s off, there’s an easy vibe between Jake and Gabi. It’s a new kind of chemistry that Days could really roll with if Camila Banus were sticking around. However, Gabi’s set to depart soon enough – and that means this romance with Jake will be over just as quickly as it starts.
There’s always a chance Gabi will return eventually and reunite with Jake, but it’s best to explore alternatives in the meantime. Brandon Barash is talented, handsome and brings plenty of chemistry to the table. There’s no doubt that Barash can make Jake work in another successful pairing.
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) seems like a boring way to go, so let’s consider some new women that Jake might have chem with. It never hurts to look ahead and mull over some hot options! Here are three sizzling romantic possibilities that might be in this DiMera twin’s future.
1) Abigail DiMera
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will land in Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) orbit in the months ahead. It looks like we’ve got a quad situation brewing with Jake, Abigail, Gwen and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
That doesn’t necessarily mean Jake and Abigail will have a long-term romance, but it does mean that sparks could fly! It’ll be interesting to see how far DOOL takes this Jake and Abigail idea.
2) Chloe Lane
Of course, Chad and Abigail have proven that they always end up back together eventually. They have a family and a deep bond to tie them together. Jake may not be able to compete with that for long, so what about Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) as a new love interest?
Chloe and Stefan were steamy once upon a time, so it might be fun to watch Jake fall for Chloe – and see how Chloe would react!
3) Sarah Horton
Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was thrilled when Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) agreed to attend Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding with him.
Sarah was quick to point out they aren’t back together yet, but Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest they’re on the verge of an official reunion. Unfortunately, bliss just never seems to last on a soap.
Could you buy Jake and Sarah as a couple at some point? A love triangle featuring Xander, Sarah and Jake might be pretty entertaining. Days will have to give Xander and Sarah another obstacle down the road, so Jake might be a good one.
