Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will have a rough time over the next couple weeks. After Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) insisted that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) was already dead before the explosion happened, Ben instantly doubted his story.
It certainly makes sense for Ben to doubt Vincent, especially since it took so much work to pry this story out of him. If Vincent had really killed Ciara, wouldn’t he have wanted Ben to know immediately?
That was the whole point of killing Ciara! To make Ben suffer. Vincent should’ve been eager to shout it from the rooftops, so it was suspicious for him to be so reluctant to divulge this info.
Instead, it seemed like Vincent cobbled together this story because he was unsuccessful in killing Ciara. Even so, a new report will show that a bullet casing was indeed in the car.
Of course, that doesn’t really prove anything since there’s no guarantee Vincent’s bullet hit Ciara like he claims. Nevertheless, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will view this as proof that Ciara’s gone – and apparently, so will Ben.
That’ll sink Ben to a dark place and leave him wanting Vincent dead. Here’s where things are a bit up in the air. Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 20 state that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will appear to Ben in a vision. Unfortunately, this scene may not play out as expected or even at all.
There have been some spoilers released lately that never actually happened because of filming issues. For example, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) were supposed to react to the news of the car explosion on screen, but Hope just talked about their reaction instead.
That’s because the production shutdown prevented the scene from being filmed – and that may have been the case with this Ciara vision, too. We’re still seeing a mix of pre-shutdown and post-shutdown scenes at the moment.
It’s possible Victoria Konefal filmed this scene, but it’s also possible things didn’t work out. If it’s the latter, the scene will either be cut or altered so we don’t actually see Ciara.
Regardless, the idea was probably for Ciara to talk Ben out of murdering Vincent. Whether Ciara shows up in a vision or not, Ben’s probably going to back out of that plan.
Next, Days of Our Lives spoilers say a blackout will hit Salem and add to Ben’s struggles. That’ll put Clyde Weston (James Read) on the loose and leave Ben in a real bind.
It sounds like Clyde will push his son to help him, but he’ll later come through for Ben. On October 23, Days spoilers say Clyde will work to rescue Ben from himself, so what does that mean?
It could be a situation where Ben feels like he has nothing left to live for. Ben may plan to commit suicide, so Clyde might stop his son from taking his own life.
It’s also possible Clyde will stop Ben from killing another character like Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly), who popped up in the fall promo. However, this suicide prevention idea makes sense considering Ben will be in a dark place and will be saved from himself somehow.
Since Clyde hasn’t been the greatest father over the years, this could serve as a little redemption in the dad department. We’ll offer updates as other Days news rolls in.
