Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, December 25, tease that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will fill Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) on a new theory of his.
DOOL fans know Steve recently got Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to walk him through what she remembered about that night in London. Steve wondered if Allie could be sure it was Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) hand holding her down.
On Friday’s episode, Steve will talk to Kayla about the possibility that someone else assaulted Allie. It’ll seem to Steve like maybe Allie’s memories are a bit jumbled.
Of course, Kayla’s bound to have her doubts about that. She may think Steve’s just believing what he wants to believe and twisting facts to make Tripp innocent.
Kayla will surely remind Steve of the DNA evidence, but Steve will wonder if maybe some relative of Tripp’s might’ve been to blame. He’ll know that sounds far-fetched, but he’ll think it would fit with the info they have.
There’ll be many questions left for Steve to ponder, but he’ll know in his heart that Tripp isn’t guilty of raping Allie. It’ll just be a matter of unraveling the rest of the mystery and figuring out who really did.
Days viewers know Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) is Tripp’s half-brother and is responsible for Allie’s assault, but it could take some time before the truth comes to light. Until then, Steve could use some help solving this case.
Thankfully, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will encourage John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to patch things up with Steve on Friday. Peace is coming, so that’ll set the stage for John and Steve to team up for the truth next week.
In the meantime, Charlie will continue to taunt Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who’s being held hostage at his apartment. Ava nearly made a break for it, but Charlie returned home just in time to stop her. He’ll probably offer his mom a warning about trying anything like that again!
As for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), she may fear Charlie was making up that story about suddenly being ill at the Christmas Eve gathering. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will talk to Allie, who may not see any reason why Charlie would lie.
Claire might worry Charlie just didn’t want to spend the holiday with her family, but Allie won’t buy that idea. She’ll probably push Claire to trust Charlie and the spark they’ve found.
The truth is Charlie really was feeling sick – sick with guilt! Charlie couldn’t handle meeting his victim, so be bailed after Allie showed up and thought he looked familiar.
Naturally, Allie doesn’t recognize Charlie from that night, but Charlie has no way of knowing if she might put the pieces together later. Charlie will have to live with that fear, but Allie will remain in the dark on where she knows Charlie from for now.
Days spoilers say Allie will encourage Claire to find Charlie and surprise him somehow. Maybe Allie will think Claire should take Charlie some chicken noodle soup since he wasn’t feeling well.
It looks like maybe Claire was filled in on where Charlie lives off screen – or perhaps she’ll find out through info at the Titan office.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will catch Charlie off guard once Monday rolls around. Friday’s cliffhanger might be Claire knocking on Charlie’s door, which could leave Charlie in a bind since he’s got Ava held captive!
At Ava’s apartment, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will unleash his fury on Tripp. Things will take a scary turn when Lucas threatens Tripp with a sharp object like a knife or letter opener. Tripp will be terrified, but it won’t be long until Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) arrives and senses that he walked in on some trouble.
However, Tripp will likely give Lucas a pass since he knows everything Allie and her family are up against. Tripp may not be guilty, but he can understand that Allie was indeed assaulted by someone – and right now, the proof makes it seem like it was Tripp. If Tripp was in their shoes, he’d probably think he was guilty, too.
