Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Friday, October 30 Recap - Kristen's New Home - Murder Plan & Ciara Memorial Heartbreak

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, October 30, reveal that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) visited with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) at Eli and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) apartment.

Brady wondered if Eli was happy to know that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) had been sentenced to 5 years at Statesville. Eli said that Kristen had stabbed Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), and that he had a hard time feeling guilty after what Kristen did.

Brady said that Eli had better pray that Lani never found about how Eli blackmailed Kristen into confessing, and Eli wondered if Brady was going to tell Lani.

Brady said no, but that he hoped that Eli was haunted by the whole thing as he spent time with his family in the future. Brady took off, leaving Eli upset.

At Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) house, Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) came in looking for Hope ahead of Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) memorial, but Hope was nowhere to be found.

Jennifer then noticed a letter from Hope, which said that Hope couldn’t bear to face another of her children’s funerals.

In the letter, Hope said that she had to go explore the one chance in a million that Ciara survived and got away from Vincent Bellman (Michael Teh). Hope referenced how Ciara was Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) daughter and that she might have found a way to survive.

Finally, Hope asked Jack and Jennifer to tell the family how much she needs to do this on her own. Jennifer broke down reading the letter, and she and Jack decided that they had to let Hope go and do this.

At the Brady Pub, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) got comfort from Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) as she was rattled ahead of the memorial for Ciara. Julie helped Claire to calm down and work through her guilt for everything she put Ciara through in the past.

Later, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie lamented about how they were going to get through the funeral, and later the reception at the pub.

Soon, Jennifer came in and told Doug and Julie about Hope’s letter and how Hope wouldn’t be there for the funeral. Doug and Julie were upset, but Doug said that they needed to respect Hope’s wishes. “That’s a mother’s determination,” Doug said.

At the Salem Inn, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) vowed to make Vincent give him answers about whether Ciara was still alive. Ben went to leave to go intercept Vincent at his arraignment, when Claire showed up at the door.

Claire was there to invite Ben to go to Ciara’s funeral, but Ben refused, saying that he was headed out to take Ciara’s bike for a spin. Claire didn’t really buy it, and Ben left.

At the Salem PD, Kristen and Lani visited in the interrogation room, where Kristen waited to be transferred to Statesville. Lani wondered what made Kristen confess, and Kristen didn’t really answer Lani, but the women did declare their love and friendship for each other.

Soon, Brady and Rachel Black arrived, and Kristen said her goodbyes to them.

Lani went to the squad room, where Eli arrived and mentioned that he was going to get Vincent from holding and take him to his arraignment. When Eli went to get Vincent, Ben attacked Eli from behind and told Eli that Vincent was coming with him.

Eli said that Ben wasn’t going to get away with this, but Ben didn’t care. Later, Lani found Eli unconscious on the cell floor.

Finally, in the park, Ben led Vincent to a clearing and made him get on his knees. “I’ve already told you everything I know,” Vincent said. Ben pointed a gun at Vincent and said, “For your sake, I hope that’s not true.”
