Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) could really use a confidence booster. Jake’s been feeling pretty low since Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) pushed him away and left town. Gabi must’ve thought it’d be easier for Jake to accept her departure if she lied about not truly caring about him.
However, Jake cared about Gabi so much that he was willing to travel to Mexico and be there for her while she supported her sick mom. Of course, Gabi couldn’t let Jake do that since her mom wasn’t really sick.
Gabi was forced into hiding along with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) after Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) revealed a deadly threat.
Fortunately, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will have a chance to make things right with Jake down the road. Once the threat’s eliminated and Gabi returns to Salem along with Rafe, Jake will finally come face to face with Gabi again.
Will Gabi confess that she lied to make the separation more bearable for both of them?
Regardless, Days spoilers say Jake and Gabi will slowly start inching their way back together. Although Gabi and Jake’s passion won’t reignite right away, something tells us they won’t be able to contain that fire for long! Having Gabi in Jake’s life should lift his spirits, but what about Jake’s career?
Jake was feeling a bit down after Gabi’s departure, which led to him drinking and ranting at Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) suit. Jake felt like a fool for thinking he could put that suit on, snap his fingers and be just like Stefan.
Naturally, there’s always a chance Jake will indeed turn out to be Stefan down the road, but let’s say DOOL leaves the story as is and Jake is just Jake. What will that mean for Jake’s future personally?
Jake does have a knack for connecting with people and making them feel comfortable. That’s why Jake was able to close the tricky DiMera deal; he was relatable and endearing at the business dinner.
Meanwhile, we’ve got go-getter Gabi, who’s creative as well as assertive and knowledgeable about the business Stefan left behind. Gabi and Stefan worked as a powercouple because they were a lot alike.
Perhaps Gabi and Jake could work because they balance each other out. Jake’s weaknesses are Gabi’s strengths and vice versa.
Once Gabi’s back in the picture, maybe she can teach Jake to harness his talents so they can team up long-term. It’d be great to see Gabi and Jake as the new powercouple – poised to take over DiMera Enterprises in 2021!
