Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) got a big surprise when she returned to Salem. As viewers know, Gabi was stunned to walk into Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) workshop and find him in bed with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
Then Gabi incorrectly assumed that Jake was just using Kate for comfort to mend his broken heart over when Gabi left, but Jake promptly informed Gabi that wasn’t the case, and that he actually has feelings for Kate.
Well, now Gabi says she’s going to Arizona to be with her daughter Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower), but Days of Our Lives viewers know that she’ll be back. Gabi might not want to give up so easily on Jake once she gives it a little thought, and she might try to give Kate a run for her money!
Let’s face it- it’s not like Gabi just to walk away from a challenge, and if she really wants Jake, she’ll probably work pretty hard to get him.
Perhaps what Gabi needs is to take a page out of Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) play book and set out to make Jake jealous in some fashion.
DOOL viewers will remember that Jennifer and Bonnie recently set out to make Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) jealous over at Julie’s Place, and it was quite the scene.
What if Gabi decides that the best way to get Jake to see that he really wants her is to flaunt a new relationship right before his eyes? That might get Jake jealous and make him realize that he has feelings for Gabi. Gabi just needs the right guy to come along for a fast fling!
Well, we’ve got someone in mind who would be just right for Gabi to embark on a quick relationship with, and it’s someone she already knows – Li Shin (Remington Hoffman).
Let’s face it, Li could probably use a good romance right about now, and he seems to be a handsome, eligible bachelor. Gabi could probably make a big to-do about her relationship with Li right there in the DiMera mansion and stir things up with Jake.
Of course, whether all of this would actually work is another matter. Jake seems to be really taken with Kate, but we all know that the relationship with Kate is not sustainable.
Kate doesn’t seem to reciprocate Jake’s feelings at this time, and chances are, she’ll drop Jake like a hot potato down the line. In fact, if Gabi waits long enough, she’ll probably get Jake back when Kate dumps him!
But wouldn’t it be more fun for Gabi if she had some fun before Jake comes around? And you never know, Jake could get the jealousy bug as he watches Li and Gabi’s romance unfold. Something tells us that Li would really woo Gabi with flowers and candy, and Gabi could make sure that Jake notices all of this.
We’ll see what happens here, but it seems about time for Li to have a romance, and Gabi needs some ammunition for Jake, so you never know – we could see Gabi seduce Li for her own use.
