Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is headed for heartbreak. DOOL fans know Jake’s got an on-again-off-again relationship with Gwen (Emily O’Brien), but a lot of it seems based on lust.
Jake and Gwen have no problems in the passion department, but it doesn’t feel like there’s a real connection underneath.
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) already has a much stronger bond with Jake, so that should be significant in the coming weeks. After Jake moves in the DiMera mansion with Gwen, there’ll be even more opportunities for Jake and Gabi to grow closer.
Days may be setting up Gabi and Jake’s new romance, but some Hernandez family mayhem could change everything.
Many DOOL viewers have heard about Eduardo Hernandez’s (A Martinez) imminent comeback. Eduardo should show up in August and will most likely play a role in how Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) exits Salem.
Since Gabi’s set to leave Days of Our Lives around the same time, Eduardo’s return should be a factor in her departure as well.
This could involve some peril that’s tied to Eduardo’s background as an assassin. Eduardo could easily have an old enemy or two that targets his family. Will Gabi be forced to go into hiding – perhaps for the sake of her daughter, Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower)?
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) are also set to exit Days in the coming weeks, so they might even get dragged into the danger as Ari’s dads. Regardless, some major stuff’s about to go down. One way or another, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will make her Salem exit.
Will Gabi share an emotional goodbye with Jake in the end? Both Jake and Gabi may be left wondering what might’ve been. Just when it looks like these two might really have a shot at a future, Gabi will have to cut it short.
Jake could easily wind up heartbroken as Gabi bids him a tearful farewell and seals it with a kiss.
