Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is going to need a new ally after Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) exits. Claire’s latest run is only temporary, so Keegan should leave Days again by around August. Since Claire was so adamant that she’d never end up back at Bayview, it seems likely that’s exactly where she’ll land at the end of all this.
Claire’s departure should leave Gwen friendless and in need of someone to scheme with. Who could Gwen form an alliance with next? Gwen only just met Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), but she already hates her rival’s guts. Perhaps Gwen should find someone else who loathes Gabi so they can team up against a mutual enemy for a ‘Stabi’ takedown.
Of course, Gwen’s task wouldn’t be tough considering nearly everyone in town hates Gabi! However, we’re talking about someone who loathes Gabi AND would fit right in this Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) aka Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) storyline. With all that in mind, Abigail DiMera (soon-to-be Marci Miller) would be the perfect fit.
Naturally, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail has to recover first and ultimately head back to Salem. Marci Miller’s DOOL return has been confirmed, so this could be an exciting alliance opportunity.
It looks like Gabi will gain the upper hand after the DNA test results prove Jake is Stefan. Gwen may want to regain that upper hand or at least make Gabi suffer for stealing her man.
Although Gabi wasn’t the one who drugged Abigail, there’s still plenty of bad blood between them. Could Gwen befriend Abigail and recruit her to help scheme against Gabi?
Stefan’s inclusion would be interesting here since Abigail might want revenge on her rapist. If Gwen’s fed up with “Jake” again at that point, she might be fine with taking both Stefan and Gabi down.
Chad’s not sure Abigail will ever be the same person her family once knew and loved. Abigail could be bitter and a much colder version of herself when she returns. It’s easy to imagine Gwen and Abigail scheming together under these circumstances, especially since Gwen will need someone to share airtime with after Claire’s gone.
