Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) has a rough ordeal ahead of her. In a new DOOL preview video, Gabi’s dashing through the garage when she runs into a bearded man with bad intentions! “Going somewhere?” he asks. Gabi looks taken aback and will likely try to talk her way out of this sticky situation, but she’s not going to have any luck.
As for Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), he’ll fill Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) in on why these thugs keep showing up. Jake will speak in vague terms, but Ben will quickly get the picture and suggest they’re talking about organized crime. He’ll get Jake to acknowledge that’s true.
We also know that Jake’s former flame, Gwen (Emily O’Brien), fits into this storyline. After Jake tells Ben all about her, he’ll admit he doesn’t know where Gwen is.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will want to help locate Gwen, but Jake may be on the fence about doing that. Gwen is a troublemaker, but she may also be the only way Jake can get out of the trouble he’s already facing!
The stakes will be raised thanks to Gabi’s kidnapping, which Jake will get proof on his phone. Days spoilers say Jake will show Ben and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) a picture of a bound and gagged Gabi, who’ll look terrified. Jake will think Gabi’s a dead woman if they don’t figure out a solution – and it seems Gwen is somehow the only solution.
Days spoilers say Ciara and Ben will assist with Jake’s mission to find Gwen during the week of June 8-12. That’s where a newly released Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) could come in handy! Gwen is Claire’s bestie at Bayview, so Jake’s ex-girlfriend isn’t too far away.
How can Gwen solve Jake’s problems? Why will it become even more important to find Gwen after Gabi’s abducted? Perhaps Gwen is part of an organized crime family.
Let’s say Daddy Dearest is a mob boss and Jake foolishly fell in love with his daughter. That might be a good explanation here. Since they broke up, Jake may only be alive because Gwen still has a soft spot for him.
Then again, Gwen may have some other connection that makes her crucial. What we’re getting at is Gwen seems to have some sway within this organization. Jake’s been telling someone to call off his goons over the phone, but Gwen may be the only who can convince this person to do that.
Of course, Gwen might want a thing or two in return – namely her release from Bayview and a reunion with Jake! It sounds like Jake will have to negotiate Gabi’s release, so check back for the latest updates and news.
