Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that some stunning story developments are coming up during the week of July 13-17. For starters, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will put up a fight when it comes to taking the memory serum. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will insist that she wants her husband back, but Jake will find out something that leaves him with concerns.
After Jake hears the whole ugly story about Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and her alter, “Gabby,” he won’t be so sure he wants to remember! Jake should find Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) “Gabby” obsession weird and disgusting. Nevertheless, Gabi isn’t going to let this go. She’ll be adamant that Jake has to go through with it and recall all those “Stabi” memories.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will eventually get a dose of the memory serum. After Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) gets the serum from Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay), Jake will take an injection and wait for Stefan’s memories to return.
Since nothing will happen immediately, Gabi and Jake will start to worry the serum isn’t going to work. It’ll bring some frustration, but Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) will return with the scoop on Jake and who he really is.
Days spoilers say Ivan will admit that Jake and Stefan are identical twins, so he should have quite a story about how he knows this.
Naturally, Gabi and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) will completely freak. This isn’t the outcome Vivian and Gabi expected at all, so they’ll have a lot to wrap their heads around.
However, this explains why Jake remembers his old life. It’s apparently because he lived it! Since Jake has the same DNA as Stefan, that explains the misleading test results, too.
Days might try to pull some crazy memory-mapping twist at some point, but Jake should just be Jake for now. It looks like Stefan will remain dead and buried, but anything can happen down the road.
Of course, Jake is still a DiMera and will have much to learn about his new family, so stay tuned to see the rest of this DOOL storyline.
