Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) will be given hope for the future. Poor Abigail’s been a mess ever since she was drugged and started battling hallucinations. Now that the chemistry of Abigail’s brain has changed, her recovery won’t be easy. These hallucinations are going to continue unless Abigail gets some sort of treatment.
Thankfully, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will learn there’s indeed a treatment option available. Once Chad gets updates on this potential plan, he’ll pitch it to Abigail. Chad certainly won’t want Abby to feel like she’s being forced into anything.
Abigail had a rough time at Shady Hills and Bayview, so Chad insisted he wouldn’t put his wife in another mental institution.
However, the option Chad offers should be a far more appealing situation. Abigail needs to be kept safe, but that doesn’t mean she has to be locked up somewhere horrible. There might be some facility that’s more like a health resort – some place that can cater to Abigail’s needs without making her feel like a prisoner.
Of course, it’s possible someone like Abigail’s grandma, Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer), will jump in on this. Laura has helped Abigail through some of her previous mental struggles, so she might pitch in again. Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail’s treatment will require heading to Florida.
That means Chad and Abigail will have to decide what’s next for their family. Since Abigail has to focus on overcoming these hallucinations and getting back to normal, Chad may think it’s best if she takes some time for herself.
Abigail may agree since Chad just scored the CEO seat at DiMera Enterprises again. She won’t want Chad bailing on the job because of her.
Being away from Chad and the kids will be difficult, but Abigail will know she’s leaving Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera in good hands. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) can always help out if Chad ever feels overwhelmed.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will come together with her loved ones during the week of May 25-29. Abby will share an emotional farewell with her family before this Florida departure. This isn’t a forever goodbye, but it’ll still be hard for Abigail to part ways with the people she cares about!
