Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that new details are emerging about Jackée Harry’s new character, who’s headed to the NBC soap in March 2021. According to Shadow and Act, Harry will play a successful and outspoken woman named Paulina.
It’s interesting since Paulina is supposedly going to be a brand-new character, but Days spoilers also confirm she’ll be connected to the Carver family.
In fact, Paulina’s main goal in coming to Salem will be to reconnect with her family. However, DOOL fans know new family members get invented all the time. Paulina might be a sister of Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) that he’s simply never talked about before.
It seems like a waste to make Paulina related to Abe instead of offering him a new potential love interest, but maybe having Paulina be the problematic relative could be fun, too.
Regardless, what we really want to focus on is something Harry revealed in her initial announcement on The Today Show.
Harry hinted that her character has a daughter, so it sounds like Days of Our Lives will announce another new character eventually. Could Paulina’s daughter serve as some competition for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and plot to make Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) her man?
That’s a possibility to consider, especially since there are already problems in Eli and Lani’s marriage.
Lani and Eli will surely work through their latest Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) issues once their twin babies arrive, but there’s no guarantee “ELani” can keep their relationship on solid ground.
Taking care of two infants is bound to be stressful, so this will definitely present some challenging new territory for Eli and Lani.
By the time March arrives, Lani’s relationship with Eli could easily be strained once again. If it’s not, it might be once Paulina’s daughter enters the picture! Lani could get a romantic rival to go up against in the months ahead.
True “Elani” love might prevail, but it sounds like there could be some bumps in the road and potential for Eli to stray.
