Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, April 6, tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will awaken after a horrible nightmare. DOOL fans know Xander and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) are set to tie the knot soon, but Xander’s keeping a massive secret that could put everything in jeopardy. With Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) help, Xander carried out a baby swap plot that’s almost ready to blow.
Xander’s troubling dream will leave him shaken, but he’ll try to tell himself it’s a dream and nothing more. It’s safe to say that dream will involve Sarah finding out the truth and unleashing her wrath in some way, but Xander will be convinced that he can indeed have a future with Sarah. He wants to build a family with Sarah and Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton, so he’ll just focus on staying positive.
As part of Xander’s positivity push, he’ll make more wedding plans. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander and Sarah’s nuptials are rapidly approaching, so Xander will have to work fast. He’ll want everything to be perfect for their big day, but he won’t realize Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) is across town blabbing about the baby switch.
Nicole just returned home to a nearly frantic Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Eric couldn’t convince Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to betray Nicole’s confidence, but he can tell something’s seriously wrong. Thanks to Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) advice, Eric was ready to buy a plane ticket to New York just to find out what’s up. Of course, Nicole’s early homecoming makes it so Eric doesn’t have to.
After Eric assures Nicole that they can tackle anything together, he’ll beg her to let him in. Eric’s afraid Nicole might be sick, so the truth’s going to leave him floored. Days spoilers say Nicole will confess how she came to suspect Mickey was actually Rachel DiMera Black. Once Nicole relays the story she got from Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt), an emotional Eric will try to wrap his head around it.
Since Nicole just wanted to have her facts straight and protect Eric, he shouldn’t be too mad that she briefly left him out of the loop. Nicole’s doing the right thing now and that’s what matters. However, Nicole’s next suggestion will involve doing the wrong thing. She’ll wonder if maybe they should just leave this alone so Eric can raise Mickey with Sarah.
Eric may agree with Nicole about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) not being great mother material, but she’s this child’s mom nonetheless. Plus, both Eric and Nicole care about Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who would be an excellent father to Mickey. Eric will ultimately determine that he simply can’t hide this secret, so he’ll plan to tell all the other key players soon.
In the meantime, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will get some good news. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will report back with updates on Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) surgery, which will turn out just fine. Days spoilers say Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) will successfully remove the microchip, so Marlena will be back to her old self once she wakes up.
As for Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols), he’ll put up a fight on giving up Steve Johnson’s mind and body. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefano will make one final maneuver to stop Kayla from forcing him out, but it’ll be no use. Stefano’s surgery will be scheduled, so there’s nothing left to do but prepare for a farewell with his children.
