Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, October 12, tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will be at his wit’s end. When the action left off last week, viewers will remember that Eli had just secretly taped Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) confessing to stabbing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Eli didn’t want to take those kinds of measures, but he really had no choice, since Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) told him that Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) future was at stake.
So, Eli now has possession of Kristen’s confession, but he has yet to give the recording over to Melinda. It’s a terrible dilemma for Eli, since he wants to keep a pregnant Lani out of prison at any cost.
However, the cost could be his marriage, since he knows that Lani would blow a gasket if she were to find out that Eli threw Kristen under the bus after promising not to do so.
Meanwhile, it appears that Melinda will do her best to get under Kristen’s skin. Kristen and Melinda will end up in the same airspace on Monday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, and Melinda will probably rant at Kristen about how she’s going to get evidence against her no matter what.
Of course, Kristen is a pro at dealing with the law, so she’ll probably stay mum and not incriminate herself, but Melinda’s a pro, too, and she’ll manage to totally unnerve Kristen.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will try to make good on her promise to Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
As viewers will remember, Jake asked Abigail to put in a good word for him with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), and Abigail agreed to do so. Jake is peeved because Chad is deliberately shutting him out of DiMera business, and he just wants a chance to prove himself.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Abigail will ask Chad for some sort of favor regarding Jake, so perhaps Abigail will ask Chad to include Jake when it comes to the big Collins deal at DiMera.
Whatever the case, spoilers for later in the week indicate that Chad will end up extending an olive branch to Jake, so it looks like this may be the favor that Abigail asks for.
Elsewhere, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will spend some time getting to know Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves).
This should be an interesting conversation, since in the past Jack and Jennifer haven’t been exactly cordial with Gwen, nor vice versa. But since Gwen is now Abigail and Chad’s nanny, the doting grandparents will probably want to get to know Gwen better.
This conversation should be pretty telling, especially since there’s a growing possibility that Gwen will turn out to be a long-lost daughter of Jack’s. We’ll see just how much Gwen probes for information about Jack’s past or other matters. – it could clue us into what Gwen has in mind going forward!
