Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) could find herself curious about a couple of bonding Salemites. DOOL fans know Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) is friends with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), but that friendship will be stronger than ever soon.
Now that Rafe’s back in town and facing life without Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), he’ll need someone to lean on.
That someone will be Nicole, who’s undoubtedly lonely without Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) around. It’s been nice for Nicole to have Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) to keep her busy, but that’s obviously not the same as having Eric by her side.
Eric headed for the Congo during what should’ve been his happy newlywed period with Nicole. Although Nicole gave Eric her blessing, there’s no doubt that this long-distance relationship has been hard for her.
Nicole’s been putting on a brave face, but it may be Rafe who gets her to open up about how difficult it is to spend night after night in bed alone.
Of course, Rafe must be lonely as well – especially since his reunion with Hope didn’t pan out. Although Rafe will do his best to track Hope down and help with the search, he can’t find Hope if she doesn’t want to be found.
This seems like something Hope wants to do on her own, so she may continue to shut everyone out – and that includes Rafe.
Instead, Rafe will slide back in the police commissioner spot and try to focus on building a new life for himself in Salem. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will serve as a great source of support, and Rafe will do the same for her. They’ll really help each other out and strengthen their friendship in the process.
Naturally, Sami’s bound to be on edge over Nicole and Rafe’s bond for multiple reasons. For starters, this is Sami we’re talking about. Sami is always going to meddle; it’s just what she does!
Plus, Rafe is Sami’s former flame, so there’s always going to be a certain level of protectiveness there. That’s especially true since Sami doesn’t like Nicole and is never really going to trust her.
Once Sami’s return stint kicks off, she’ll inevitably spy on Rafe and Nicole as they grow closer. Could this lead to Sami catching a betrayal of some sort? Whether Nicole kisses Rafe or perhaps lands in bed with him, you can bet Sami will find out about it.
There’s even a chance Sami could misconstrue a situation and make a mess of things.
Regardless, Sami may be the one who rats Nicole out to Eric in the end. Nicole and Eric’s marriage can’t stay in limbo forever, so Days needs a way to set up their divorce.
Perhaps Sami will take it upon herself to expose Nicole’s cheating or what she believes to be cheating. It may be Sami who looks out for her twin brother and reports back to Eric about his wife’s dirty deeds!
