General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, July 21, reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will receive something shocking while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) tries to get her position back at GH.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also hope to make a big comeback of her own as she resumes work at the PCPD.
For starters, Britt will make a pitch at the hospital, where she’ll hope to regain her employment.
While Britt’s there, she’ll have another run-in with Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer), so more tension may erupt between them.
Across town, Carly’s advice for Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to work things out with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) won’t pan out since the mother-daughter duo will get into yet another heated argument.
Lulu may also end up clashing with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) since he’s on the verge of delivering a proposal that’ll throw her for a loop.
Speaking of proposals, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make one of his own during a discussion with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
It’ll lead to Justine realizing that she may not be on the same page about Sonny’s next move.
“If you’re suggesting what I think you’re suggesting, we’re gonna have a problem,” Justine warns in Tuesday’s preview video.
Justine has made it crystal clear that she wants to follow the law and avoid Sonny’s less than legal way of dealing with criminal enemies like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
ADA Turner also can’t do any special favors for Sonny or his family, so she may give him a reminder of that soon enough.
Despite any conflict that might be brewing with Justine, Sonny still has some good news headed his way.
That may involve whatever dirt Brick (Stephen A. Smith) has found on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Brick already warned Valentin to leave Port Charles, but Valentin insisted on staying put to build a life with Carly and Charlotte.
That means it’s time for Brick to make a special delivery to Carly, so he’ll visit her house with a flash drive that contains incriminating information.
“If you decide that you need him out of your life, this should do the trick,” Brick tells Carly in Tuesday’s preview clip.
Carly will hide something from Valentin according to General Hospital spoilers, so it sounds like she’ll decide to keep her lover in the dark for now.
As for Anna, she’ll head back to work at the PCPD, where she’ll have a lot to catch up on.
Although Anna will dig into what happened on the pier and assume Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), it looks like Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) may rat out Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) in the coming episodes.
