Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a recent scene set the stage for some summer excitement to come. DOOL fans know Will Horton (Chandler Massey) spent some time chatting with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) at the pub, where Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) joined them. It wasn’t long until the conversation shifted to Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Everyone at the table playfully bickered over who should be the one to tell Sami about Nicole and Eric’s engagement. Nicole finally decided she’d do it herself, which led to Sami being surprisingly courteous over the phone.
Of course, Sami texted Eric about two seconds later to ask if he was out of his mind for proposing to “that bitch.”
There are a few crucial hints to talk about here. For starters, Sami is already becoming part of the action again through her offscreen comments. Days is reestablishing Sami and Nicole’s rivalry, which will be important in the coming weeks.
There’s also this interaction with Will, which is unusual and will become important once Allie Horton returns to town.
Allie will show up looking for her uncle during the week of June 8-12. She’ll have a big secret to share, but she won’t want Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) to spill it. Since Nicole lives with Eric, it seems she’ll be on hand when Allie arrives.
Allie will try to swear Nicole to secrecy as well, but Nicole and Eric may advise Allie that honesty is the best policy.
Now that DOOL’s summer preview video has confirmed Allie’s pregnancy, it seems that may be the secret. Perhaps Allie’s been living apart from her parents and has managed to keep her bun in the oven under wraps thus far. Whatever the case, Allie won’t be able to contain this shocker for very long.
It seems likely that Nicole will be instrumental in guiding Allie, so that’ll rile Sami up when the time comes. Nicole may see a lot of herself in Allie as a young troublemaker who’s in over her head.
Days fans know Nicole’s made mistakes, but she eventually turned her life around. She may make Allie see that she has the potential to do that, too.
Nicole’s guidance may even lead Allie to think adoption is the right choice for her. That might be something Sami disagrees with. Although this will be Allie’s decision, Sami might accuse Nicole of steering Allie in the wrong direction.
Since Sami has clearly been unable to connect with Allie, it’ll be frustrating for her to watch Allie latch onto Nicole and think of her as a trusted mentor.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole and Sami will even have a wedding cake brawl following Nicole and Eric’s nuptials. It’ll be a classic DOOL catfight and a fun episode for sure!
As for Will, he’ll become involved through his desire to add another baby to his family with Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).
When Allie gives birth, Nicole will sit right by her bedside. Allie might even kick overbearing Sami out of the delivery room and insist she only wants Nicole! This baby drama should serve as a great opportunity to highlight Sami and Nicole’s feud.
