Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will pay the price for scheming against Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). After Philip scores his release, he’ll whine to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) about Xander’s plot.
Victor will believe Philip – and Xander probably won’t even try to deny it. From Xander’s perspective, it was never fair to make him share the CEO title anyway.
Unfortunately, Xander’s efforts to sit solely on the throne will backfire spectacularly. Philip will become the lone CEO once Victor gives Xander the boot.
After Philip’s achieved victory, he’ll make a phone call to a mysterious character. This is intriguing since it suggests Philip might be working with someone.
Of course, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is coming back to Days of Our Lives, but that’s practically common knowledge now. Why would a phone call to Chloe need to be some big secret?
Chloe’s a great love interest for Philip, but it sounds like this involves somebody who’s more like a secret partner.
After Xander’s out of the way, Philip may sit smugly in his CEO chair and call someone to say phase one of their mission is complete. Let’s remember that Philip and Victor were estranged when Philip showed back up in town.
It was strange for Philip to return out of the blue – suddenly looking to make amends and take over Titan.
In some ways, it almost feels like Philip slid in Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) storyline. Brady forced Victor to give him the CEO title to make things right between them and planned to run Titan into the ground.
That story ended abruptly so Brady could leave Salem with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so it seemed like the writing team was shifting some things.
What if Days writers decided Philip should destroy Titan instead – or more specifically, destroy Victor? It was the same scenario since Philip emotionally blackmailed Victor into giving him this job.
Philip was only willing to stay in town and try to mend their bond if Victor made him top dog. That doesn’t sound like someone who genuinely cared about making things right with Victor.
It was about accomplishing a goal. Plus, Philip made sure to rant about everything Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) did to him and how hurtful it was that Victor took Deimos’ side. Philip suggested he was collateral damage and surmised that some family members were more important than others.
What if Philip actually came back for revenge? Could Philip’s mysterious phone call be tied to a vengeful ally? Victor’s probably going to rant at Xander for betraying another Kiriakis when he fires him. There may be a lot of talk about family loyalty as Victor assumes Philip’s indeed the loyal one.
Afterward, Days viewers may see that Philip’s up to no good! If Philip is scheming as we suspect, who might his secret partner be? There’s one person Victor would never suspect – and that’s Deimos!
Victor assumes Philip hates Deimos, so he wouldn’t guess they’d be in cahoots. There’s also the matter of Deimos supposedly being dead, but that’s an easy hurdle to get past on DOOL.
If Deimos isn’t so dead after all, he’d be the perfect partner in crime for Philip. Deimos might’ve made Philip an offer he couldn’t refuse. Maybe Deimos could come back in person eventually and wreak havoc.
Since Deimos’ murder came up during all the custody chaos, it might’ve been a hint about Deimos’ returning from the dead.
Whatever the case, Philip does seem to have a hidden agenda and an ally to go along with it. We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news pops up. Is Victor’s empire at risk?
