Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Philly Mob Connects Jake to Ava & Charlie Drama – Deadly Vitali Family Returns To Salem

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) finally opened up a bit about his family background, so we should talk about the new hints DOOL offered.

Charlie didn’t provide a ton of details, but he did admit he was raised by his father in “Philly.” Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) also heard about Charlie’s brother, though he admitted they aren’t in touch.

Obviously, that brother is Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Charlie is the real rapist who went after Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) in London, but Tripp has been wrongfully accused of his brother’s crime.

However, what we really want to focus on here is Charlie’s father and this “Philly” connection.

For starters, Charlie didn’t specify whether his father was a biological one or an adoptive one. Days made a point to clarify that Tripp and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) were the only DNA matches that’d show up that way on the test.

It was such a weird thing to include if they weren’t going to make Charlie related to Steve.

With that in mind, Charlie could easily still be another son Steve and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) share. If “Cousin Angelo” raised Charlie, it’d make sense for him to consider Angelo his father.

The door’s open for Charlie to be adopted, which would explain how he was brought up in “Philly” by someone else.

On the other hand, Days of Our Lives writers might’ve changed their minds about Charlie’s parentage. Storylines do get adjusted sometimes, so it’s possible Charlie is Ava’s son with another man and the hint about Steve’s DNA won’t mean anything.

The DNA results still make the most sense if Charlie is Tripp’s fraternal twin, but soaps don’t always follow a logical path. Sometimes we’re asked to suspend disbelief for drama’s sake!

Regardless, Days spoilers say Charlie and Tripp share enough DNA for Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) to be a match for both of them.

That brings us to Charlie’s admission that he grew up in “Philly.” There’s an interesting link here since that’s where Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) got caught up in the mob – though it’s been repeatedly mentioned Jake only worked there for about a year and a half.

Jake was low level, but he caused plenty of trouble after he stole that critical book of names.

Let’s look at the facts here. Ava comes from a mob family and apparently has another son who lived in “Philly.” Jake worked for a mob family in “Philly” for about a year and a half before he came to Salem. It has to be the same mob family – meaning the dangerous Vitali clan.

This also means Jake might end up in more trouble now that Ava’s in town. After all, that stolen book landed him in hot water – and it’s not easy to just walk away from the mob.

There’s the potential for Jake to get caught up in Ava and Charlie’s storyline. Jake might even know information he could divulge to Steve at some point – or Ava could threaten him if he knows too much.

Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Jake has a connection to the same mob family that Ava and Charlie are tied to. We’ll fill you in as other news and updates emerge.
