Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) is going to be back on the Salem scene soon. According to DOOL spoilers, Vivian will return during the week of June 29th, and however she comes back, she’s going to wind up back in police custody, as the Days summer promo showed her sitting in the Salem PD interrogation room on the suspect’s side of the table.
Now, exactly what gets Vivian back into police custody remains to be seen, but she certainly wouldn’t have to do much to be hauled into the station. As DOOL viewers will remember, Vivian (who was at the time portrayed by Robin Strasser) was on the run from the police when she fled Salem on a private jet arranged by her son Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
This happened right after Stefan was shot by Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and was declared brain dead.
Of course, a lot of what ultimately happened to Stefan rests squarely on Vivian’s shoulders, since Lani was shooting at Vivian when Stefan flung himself into the line of fire to save his mom.
Vivian was threatening Lani, and Lani’s shoot was deemed clean. At any rate, Vivian is going to resurface and according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, she’s going to be utterly stunned when she gets an eyeful of Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
In fact, the DOOL summer promo shows Vivian nearly speechless and crying out, “My son!” when she sees Jake for the first time. Some interesting interactions are going to flow from that encounter for sure, but given that Vivian is going to be so shocked to see Jake, then that must mean that she’s seeing him for the first time, and that must mean that she wasn’t behind any Stefan resurrection into Jake.
There’s been a working theory of Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) set her up by first drugging Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) and then making it seem like Gabi was trying to inject Jake with the same hallucinogenic drug.
The only problem with that theory is that Rolf was in police custody when Abigail was drugged, so he must have had an accomplice if Gabi’s theory is right.
There was then speculation by some fans that the person working with Rolf could be Vivian, but if that’s the case, then it doesn’t really make sense that she’d be shocked by Jake’s appearance now.
And that begs the question – if it wasn’t Vivian who was working with Rolf to drug Abigail and set up Gabi for a crime that she didn’t commit, then who did?
Time will tell, and there’s a lot to unfold here, but hopefully we’ll get some good information from Vivian once she makes her appearance about where she’s been all this time and what she’s been doing. Vivian might have some words for Rolf once she gets a look at Jake, too.
At any rate, it seems that the mystery of who might have been working with Rolf to upend Gabi’s life and do harm to Abigail in the process will continue on. Who do you think might have been working with Rolf – after all, someone had to have drugged Abigail!
