Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will finally become husband and wife. There’s much more wedding drama to come, but Eli and Lani will manage to marry anyway. Later, it’ll be time for a romantic wedding night – one that’ll be full of passion and heartfelt words about the future.
Lani and Eli will count on having a wonderful newlywed period, but some grim news could derail that plan. During the week of July 6-10, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will wake up to a major crisis before her wedding begins.
It sounds like Kayla may have to deal with a patient at the hospital – and we know that a funeral’s coming up on Days of Our Lives.
DOOL fans watched as Lani’s mom, Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), collapsed at Lani and Eli’s wedding. There were also moments before the ceremony when Tamara seemed a bit off – almost secretive. Tamara could easily have a terminal illness she hasn’t revealed to Lani or anyone else in Salem.
Will Kayla’s crisis be a medical one? Will Kayla try and ultimately fail to save Tamara’s life? Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Eli will be busy enjoying their newlywed status, but their blissful bubble could burst quickly.
On the surface, it seems cruel to bring Lani’s mom back just to kill her off. However, this could be a way to reignite Lani’s fears about loss.
Lani and Eli were heartbroken over the death of their first child, David Grant. It led to concerns about Lani’s new pregnancy, so Lani was unsure about whether she could go through with it at first.
With Eli’s support, Lani decided she wanted this baby and was willing to face her fears.
Days could force Lani to battle concerns all over again if Tamara dies. Lani’s been on cloud nine with Eli, so she’d see how fast everything can fall apart. What should be one of the most joyous times of Lani’s life would turn into a horrible one.
There’d also be a deep sadness over Tamara not having a chance to be a grandmother to this baby.
Will DOOL bring heartbreak so soon after Eli and Lani tie the knot? This could be a difficult challenge for Lani and Eli to face as a couple. Days spoilers confirm a funeral is just around the corner, so we’ll see if Lani has to say goodbye to her mother.
