Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Real Bonnie’s Dead, Adrienne Alive with Bonnie’s Memories – Shocking Twist Revealed

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) return will continue to make waves. Bonnie already had to inform Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) that she’s not his dead wife, Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). During the week of July 13-17, Bonnie will have to break the same news to a confused Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).

However, things may not be exactly as they seem! Could Bonnie actually be Adrienne after all? Let’s consider some huge clues and try to solve his potential mystery. For starters, we want to mention a similar scenario as proof this is possible.

When Arianne Zucker returned to Days of Our Lives in 2019, DOOL spoilers insisted presumed dead Nicole Walker was back. Later, Days revealed the twist – which was that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was posing as Nicole in a mask. The real Nicole wasn’t truly back at that point, despite earlier spoilers to the contrary.

At the time, Zucker spoke rather cryptically with Soap Opera Digest in hopes of preserving the surprise. Zucker talked about her character being in a different place and suggested that “now there’s these vulnerable aspects to her that are different.” She was obviously talking about Nicole being in a different physical location – and the second part was likely referring to Kristen as Nicole’s impostor.

Now let’s look at what Judi Evans had to say about Bonnie’s comeback in SOD. Evans mentioned not wanting to give too much away and suggested this return brought more difficulties than usual. The Days of Our Lives star hinted that “the situation in which she comes back made it even more of a challenge.”

Evans went on to discuss how Bonnie’s going to change over the course of the story. “There’s a lot of the old Bonnie still right there,” Evans said. “She still has a long way to go to be a redeemable person. But there’s a journey for her, too.”

Perhaps all the Bonnie spoilers are just as misleading as the Nicole spoilers. This could be a setup for another shocker. Is Bonnie really the one who died? Did someone implant Bonnie’s memories into Adrienne? Maybe there was a switch at that DOOL will reveal down the road.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) was transformed into Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) through a microchip. Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) became Princess Gina Von Amberg through a chip as well.

There’s also been talk lately about how Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) could’ve been made to believe he was a completely different person. Days spoilers say Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is Stefan’s identical twin, but maybe all that talk was building to another Salemite who was made to believe she’s someone else – namely Adrienne!

In the cemetery, Bonnie babbled on and on about supercouples. She insisted that no matter what happens, they always end up together. That seems like a GIANT hint that Justin and Adrienne will be reunited in the end. Seriously, could that hint get any bigger?

Many Days fans have noticed that Bonnie seems a little different this time around. There’s just something a tad off about her. It almost feels like another strange version of Bonnie instead of the real deal.

What if the journey Evans was referring to was one of self-sacrifice? Bonnie may not realize she’s Adrienne right now, but that bomb could drop eventually. Perhaps Bonnie will have grown enough by then to step aside for Adrienne’s sake.

Bonnie might willingly have her chip removed so that Adrienne can reclaim her life, which would mean a true death for Bonnie.

This memory-altering stuff can get tricky, so we’ll recap what we mean here. Let’s say Bonnie was swapped for Adrienne – maybe even after the crash at the hospital. It may have been dead Bonnie that Adrienne’s loved ones said goodbye to.

Meanwhile, the real Adrienne possibly became Bonnie through a microchip for some soapy reason.

If that’s not where this story’s headed, what’s the point of Bonnie’s return? To promote a book and fantasize about Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo)? We’re not buying that’s all there is to Bonnie’s comeback. There has to be a deeper story here – and that story may involve Adrienne’s return from the dead!
