Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, May 28, tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will be right by Lani Price’s (Sal Stowers) side as she takes a pregnancy test. Once that test shows a positive result, Eli will think this is fantastic news. It’s obviously unexpected, but Eli will think they can roll with it. He just finished making a speech about how he wanted to have a family with Lani and build a life with her.
From Eli’s perspective, they’re just speeding things up a bit more than they planned. Eli will be ecstatic, but Lani’s reaction may let him know she’s not on the same page. It’s possible Lani will try to hide her fears for a while, but Eli’s going to figure it out eventually. Lani already lost one child, so she’ll worry she could end up losing this one, too.
Although Lani will get plenty of reassurance from Eli, her fears will persist next week. In the meantime, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will talk to Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) at the police station.
Days fans know Jake just showed up in the interrogation room, so Gabi should be pleased about this visit. She’ll probably look at it as proof that Jake simply can’t stay away.
It’s true that Jake has been dwelling on his encounters with Gabi and even had a dream about her giving a serum injection. There’s definitely a connection here, but Jake will continue to put up a fight.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will ultimately shut Gabi out. He may act like he only came by to tell Gabi she needs to steer clear of the garage from now on.
Speaking of the garage, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is all alone at work – and that’s not a good idea when dangerous thugs have already made a surprise appearance there. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will land in danger once again on Thursday. Perhaps those baddies will come back with plans to do far worse!
Fortunately, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will come to Ben’s rescue. She may show up in the nick of time and threaten to call the cops. Ben and Ciara have a habit of saving each other, so that trend will continue in Thursday’s DOOL episode.
Next, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will head to the cemetery. He’ll want to pay Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) grave a visit with a specific goal in mind. First, Justin may apologize for everything that went down with Orpheus (George DelHoyo).
Part of Justin might be sorry he didn’t pull the trigger and get revenge, but he’ll also know that’s not what Adrienne would’ve wanted.
However, the main reason for this cemetery visit will involve another marriage proposal. Justin will want to lock in a future with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), but he’ll feel like he needs Adrienne’s permission to take that step. Days spoilers say Justin will sit by Adrienne’s grave and hope he can feel her approval somehow.
