Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, October 20, tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will push Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to reveal what she’s plotting.
Jake listened in during Gwen’s latest chat with Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait, so he knows she’s up to something. As a result, Jake will get in Gwen’s face on Tuesday and try to figure out what it is.
However, Gwen obviously won’t want to spill the beans to her grumpy ex. She has no reason to trust Jake and certainly won’t want him ruining her disastrous party plans.
Gwen wouldn’t even reveal her motive for targeting Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) when she met with her partner in crime, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay), so that says a lot about her level of secrecy!
Speaking of Dr. Rolf, he’ll cause some mischief of his own on Tuesday. Days of Our Lives spoilers say a blackout is brewing, so Dr. Rolf may have a hand in why that happens. We know this blackout will be intentional – and it’ll give several fugitives a chance to escape, including Dr. Rolf.
DOOL spoilers say Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Clyde Weston (James Read) will do some scheming before the lights go out across Salem. Clyde and Orpheus will move forward with a risky alliance, so they’ll make the most of their freedom soon.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) just received a mysterious call, but no one said anything on the other end. It looks like Marlena may get a different call from Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) or at least fear the first one might’ve been from him.
Days spoilers say Marlena will wind up in Ben’s room on Tuesday, so she may check in to see how he’s coping with the loss of Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Ben clearly isn’t doing well at all – and a stunning visit from the love of his life may hurt more than it helps.
Ciara will appear to Ben, but this will just be a vision like the ones Ben had of Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause). Since Ben will only be hallucinating, we might see Ciara suggest something out of character – like urging Ben to avenge her death.
This could give Ben the push he needs to go after Vincent Belman (Michael Teh).
After Ciara vanishes, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will gaze at the gun he stole from evidence. Perhaps in Ben’s grief-stricken state, he’ll feel like Ciara wants him to follow through on his deadly plans.
As for Orpheus, he’ll make his way to Marlena’s darkened penthouse and give her a shock. That call Marlena received earlier was most likely from Orpheus instead of Ben, so he should offer an explanation.
Orpheus will eventually insist that Marlena’s going to help him or else, so stay tuned to hear all about his demands later this week.
In the meantime, Abigail will argue with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), who’ll inevitably complain about Jake all over again. However, the blackout will ultimately take center stage at the DiMera mansion. It won’t be long until Chad heads downstairs and discovers an armed Dr. Rolf!
