Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that it’s time to start thinking about Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) future. DOOL fans know Henry has a lot of love surrounding him.
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) was finally able to bond with her son – and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) has been pitching in with Henry every step of the way.
Henry doesn’t necessarily need a father figure, but he might get one anyway. The kid’s bound to have questions about how he came into existence one day, so that’ll bring some new challenges for Allie.
Henry was conceived through rape, so the father is a monster – no matter who he turns out to be.
Allie currently believes Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) assaulted her, but Tripp has never wavered from his claims that he never forced himself on Allie or even slept with her consensually.
The only physical contact they had was a simple kiss that Allie initiated according to Tripp – one that he shut down because he didn’t want to take advantage of Allie.
Tripp got emotional in private at Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) grave in the cemetery, where Tripp insisted he’d never do what Allie’s accusing him of – not to Allie or any other woman.
Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) continued faith in Tripp despite the DNA evidence has also touched Tripp’s heart. Tripp had tears in his eyes as he thanked his dad recently.
Days of Our Lives seems to be shifting the story away from all the suspicions and focusing on the wrongfully accused side of things. It’s becoming about HOW Tripp is innocent rather than whether he actually is.
We’re probably going to see a fraternal twin or brother situation to explain the DNA test results, but that doesn’t change much for Henry.
Henry’s biological father is still scum for what he did to Allie. Now that Tripp is becoming the good guy of the story and will inevitably be cleared, how will he fit in all this?
If Tripp’s twin or another brother raped Allie, that’d make Henry a nephew to Tripp. Henry is still going to be family – and he could use someone to play the role of dad in his life.
Will Tripp step up as a father to Henry anyway? The DNA test results are clear about the shared DNA, so it might be sweet if Uncle Tripp bonded with Henry when this nightmare is over. Tripp might want to be there for Henry if Allie’s on board with the idea.
Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) may be revealed as the baddie who went after Allie in London sooner or later. If not, Tripp’s fraternal twin or brother might be brought on in the form of a new character.
Regardless, Tripp may find himself feeling protective and invested in what happens to Henry down the road.
