Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, June 22, teases that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) will wonder why he should help Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). What’s in it for Rolf? Rafe will think Dr. Rolf should do the right thing and reveal who helped him set up Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). There’s another person involved here who must’ve drugged Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi).
However, Dr. Rolf’s not the kind of guy who does things out of the kindness in his heart. If Rafe wants Dr. Rolf to reveal this mysterious accomplice, he’ll have to give something in exchange.
There’s a good chance Dr. Rolf will want his freedom, but that may be hard for Rafe to pull off. Even a reduced sentence could be tricky, particularly since Rafe’s trying to work fast.
Rafe needs to clear Gabi’s name ASAP, but Dr. Rolf will definitely give him some trouble on this. Monday’s DOOL episode will also feature a prison call. If Dr. Rolf decides to rat this person out, he might call to offer him or her a head-start.
Then again, Dr. Rolf might agree to help Rafe set a trap and catch this accomplice. Either way, Dr. Rolf will get in touch with someone important.
There’s no confirmation on who the secret accomplice is just yet, but Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) remains a good possibility. While Rafe works toward getting Gabi off the hook, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will push Gabi’s buttons.
DOOL fans know Chad just returned to the DiMera mansion, so he’ll gloat about Gabi’s judgment day in Monday’s episode.
Chad will feel like Gabi’s going down, but Gabi will be adamant that the truth will prevail. She was set up and intends to prove it with Rafe’s help. As for Chad, he’ll check in with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and fret about Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi). Although Abigail was making progress at her new facility in Florida, it seems things aren’t going as well now.
Chad will tell Jack that the Abigail they know and love may never come back to them. Thomas DiMera will start asking questions about his mommy soon, so that’ll put Chad on the spot.
Chad won’t know when Abigail’s coming home, but he’ll undoubtedly assure Thomas of his mom’s love. Fortunately, Days spoilers confirm Marci Miller will take over as an Abigail recast in the months ahead.
In the meantime, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will keep bringing the heat! The passion between them just exploded, so Jake and Gwen are on the verge of hooking up. Will Gwen and Jake do the deed or will they ultimately decide this is a bad idea? Either way, there’s an intense connection between Gwen and Jake.
Gabi insisted she wasn’t afraid of a little competition, but she may have more concerns eventually. Speaking of concerns, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will have some when it comes to Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and this whole maid of honor thing.
When Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) drops by Ciara and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) room at the Salem Inn, Ciara will mention Claire’s wish.
Although Claire tried to help with the Gwen hunt, Ciara won’t be sure she trusts Claire yet. She’ll bring Shawn up to speed on Claire’s desire to be her maid of honor and wonder if she should let Claire get that close again.
Only Ciara can make that decision, but Shawn will hope they can all be a united family again. He’ll be delighted when Ciara heads to the townhouse later and embraces Clare.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will also watch this display of affection. It seems Ciara will decide to let Claire serve as her maid of honor, but you can bet Ciara will proceed with caution.
When Ciara fills Ben in on her decision, he’s bound to have a terrible feeling about all this.
As for Hope, she’ll be pulled aside for a tender moment with Claire. Days spoilers say Claire will apologize for trying to kill Ciara and letting herself spiral out of control like that.
Claire will promise she got the help she needs and truly wants to make things right, so Hope will want to believe that. She’ll have some fears in the back of her mind, but she’ll try to trust that it’ll all work out.
