Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 26, teases that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will come close to killing Orpheus (George DelHoyo). DOOL fans know Justin just pulled a gun on Orpheus and intends to make him pay for Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) death. However, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will barge in before Justin can make a huge mistake.
Steve and Kayla will learn that Orpheus’ gun is missing from evidence, so she’ll put the clues together and realize Justin went to confront Adrienne’s killer after all. Once Kayla and Steve fling open the door, Justin will push them to stay out of this. He’ll want Orpheus to die since Adrienne faced a grim fate.
Of course, killing Orpheus might feel good in the moment, but it would come with plenty of consequences. Justin has people who care about him – people who’d miss him if he were sent to Statesville following Orpheus’ murder.
Steve will insist that if Justin gives up the gun, he’ll shoot Orpheus for him. Since Justin will believe Steve, he’ll indeed hand the weapon to him.
Steve will whack Orpheus in the head and cause him to lose consciousness. However, Orpheus won’t get a bullet pumped in him. That’ll upset Justin, who trusted Steve to truly do the deed.
After Justin blasts Steve, Kayla will privately thank her ex before telling Justin this was for the best. Justin’s got a lot to live for on the outside. Besides, Justin would’ve just been sinking to Orpheus’ dark level.
Kayla will make Justin see Orpheus will get what’s coming to him – at least in the legal sense. Orpheus will inevitably be sent back to prison, so Justin can hopefully take some comfort in that.
At John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse, they’ll get some surprise visitors. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will show up with an announcement to make.
DOOL viewers know Nicole just accepted Eric’s marriage proposal, so they’re eager to spread the good news. Eric and Nicole will likely notice John’s head injury, so that should lead to updates on all the Orpheus drama. Since John’s OK and there’s been an “Ericole” engagement, there’ll be a lot to celebrate in Tuesday’s episode!
Marlena, John, Eric and Nicole will enjoy a Champagne toast as Orpheus’ bomb ticks under the couch. They’ll be all smiles – completely unaware of the deadly explosion that could result!
At Orpheus’ hideout, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will be a bit shaken after realizing his badge was hit by a bullet. Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) just fought over the gun, which fired in the struggle. Thankfully, there won’t be a bloody outcome on Tuesday. Instead, Hope will get the upper hand and hold a gun on Zoey.
Zoey will speak with someone over the phone – presumably to hear about Orpheus being hauled down to the police station. That should be comforting in some ways and concerning in others. Orpheus can’t hurt Zoey’s son if he’s locked up, but Zoey still has to figure out where Orpheus took him.
You might also think that Zoey would get in major trouble for pulling a gun on law enforcement, but it doesn’t look like she will. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Zoey will still go up against Rafe in court over David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) during the week of June 1-5. In the meantime, Rafe will scoop little David up and just be glad he’s no longer in Orpheus’ grasp.
After Hope makes her way over to John and Marlena’s townhouse, she’ll be instrumental in helping with the bomb. Once that bomb’s discovered, it’ll presumably be defused. Marlena and John’s townhouse remain intact along with all the people inside, so that’s a relief!
Other Days spoilers say Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will once again consider bringing another child into their family. Sonny and Will have mulled over this topic before, but it’s time to get serious about it.
After the mood’s set for romance, Will and Sonny will decide they’re really going to do this. They’ll settle on giving Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) a little brother or sister. Days of Our Lives spoilers say this baby mission will come with some challenges, but Will and Sonny will be up for them!
