Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Valerie Williams (Vanessa Williams) will have a secret when she returns for Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) wedding. Valerie won’t want to steal the spotlight from the happy couple, but it turns out Valerie’s got a hot new romance of her own. Valerie will enjoy a kiss with a handsome man during the week of June 29-July 3.
Who’s the new man in Valerie’s life? DOOL fans can expect Valerie to lock lips with someone who’ll shock her son, Eli. It turns out this guy will be pretty important to Eli, too!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Billy Davis Jr. will reprise his role as Eli’s former FBI mentor, who’s also named Billy. Valerie will have a huge surprise in store for Eli when she reveals Billy is her latest love interest.
Of course, there’s no word on how serious things are between Valerie and Billy. This could be a relatively new development in both their love lives. It’s also possible this has been building for a while now.
Maybe Valerie and Billy just weren’t exactly sure how to break this news to Eli. Billy and Valerie could easily get caught kissing and be forced into divulging this shocker.
Although Eli respects Billy as a mentor and considers him a friend, it’s still kind of awkward for Billy to date Eli’s mom. However, Eli should get past the initial shock of this quickly. Since Eli knows Billy’s a good guy, there’s probably no one else he’d rather see dating Valerie.
Plus, Eli’s on cloud nine in his own love life. Now that Eli’s found so much happiness with Lani, he certainly wants the same for Valerie and Billy. Eli would never stand in the way of true love!
As a side note, Billy Davis Jr. is the real-life husband of Marilyn McCoo (Tamara Price) and that’s how he scored a role on Days. It’s nice that DOOL’s getting Billy a bit more involved in the action this time around.
