Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, September 2 Recap - Ciara Pregnant Dream, Gives Birth To Ben's Baby Boy - Jan Tanks Nicole & Eric’s Case

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 2, reveal that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) interrogated Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) at the Salem PD.

Ben insisted that he didn’t remember hurting Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal), and Shawn yelled at Ben to try to remember. Ben said that he was trying, but it’s like someone ripped out part of his brain.

Out in the squad room, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) came to see Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Claire felt guilty for letting Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) get away in the park, but Hope said it wasn’t Claire’s fault.

Hope and Claire rehashed how Hope had gotten thru to Eve, then they heard Shawn yelling at Ben from the interrogation room.

Hope and Claire went to the interrogation room and Hope ordered Shawn to leave. Shawn and Hope talked in the squad room, and Shawn agreed to go to the hospital and check in on John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

In the interrogation room, Claire told Ben that she knew that he loved Ciara and that he wouldn’t hurt her.

Someplace, Ciara slept in a bed, and she dreamed about a wonderful future with Ben. First, Ciara dreamed of preparing to go on her honeymoon with Ben, then she had a dream about telling Ben she was pregnant with a fortune cookie.

Ciara smiled as she kept dreaming. Next, Ciara dreamed about giving birth to their baby child – a boy.

Ciara’s next dream was about one of Ben’s future birthdays, and during the dream Ciara showed Ben a card made by their son who they had named Bo. However, this dream turned into a nightmare, as Ciara dreamed of giving Ben a necktie as a present.

In the dream, Ben got angry about the present, and Ciara woke up, upset. As Ciara came to, she came face to face with Vincent (Michael Teh), who was now in the room with her.

At the hospital, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) spoke at the nurses’ station while Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was in sitting with John. Marlena said she felt guilty about not helping Ben the day before.

Shawn showed up, and Marlena got the scoop about how Ben was brainwashed and couldn’t remember what happened to Ciara.

Marlena offered to get Ben’s memories back, but Shawn didn’t want her to leave John. Marlena said that Belle, Shawn, and Brady were there for John and that she could slip out for a little while.

Marlena left, and Shawn told Belle that he ran into Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), and they noted that the last they saw Philip was after the Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) nightmare.

Back at the police station, Marlena arrived and told Hope that she could hypnotize Ben, and that they’d find Ciara and bring her home. Marlena went into see Ben in the interrogation room, and Claire left to go be with John at the hospital.

Ben said that Marlena should be with John, but Marlena insisted that they were going to solve this problem together, and that she could hypnotize him again so he could remember what happened.

Marlena hypnotized Ben, and he remembered himself trying to get at Ciara through the bathroom door in the dorm room. Ben recounted breaking in the room and finding Ciara in the shower, then he remembered Ciara standing up and telling him he was strong and that he could fight the brainwashing.

Ben remembered telling Ciara that he loved her, and then saying he had no choice and walking toward her with the necktie in his hands.

Ben started to get agitated with the memories, and Marlena urged him to keep going. Ben kept remembering, and he recalled Vincent walking in the dorm room yelling, “What are you waiting for? Do it! Kill her now!” Ben told Marlena that he remembered everything.

At the courthouse, Jan walked in and said a snarky hello to Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker). Nicole rushed up to Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and asked what was going on, and Sami said that she persuaded Jan to testify against Nicole.

Sami explained to the court that her proof that Nicole tried to murder Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was here, and that the Shady Pines facility in New York had released Jan from its care.

Justin attempted to object, but the judge allowed Jan’s testimony. Jan proceeded to give some mostly coherent testimony about being at a low point when she was friends with Nicole, and that Nicole offered to help her get together with Shawn if she killed Victor.

Jan explained how Nicole wanted Jan to throw a radio into Victor’s bathtub. Justin tried to object again, and he wondered why this was only coming out now.

Jan said that no one asked before, plus she had ended up in a coma afterwards. The judge asked Nicole if this was all true, and Justin advised her not to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate her.

Jan was dismissed, and Sami argued that Nicole was unfit to raise a baby. Justin said that Jan was unstable and dangerous, and that her testimony should be discounted.

Sami then presented Jan’s old diary, which backed up everything Jan said, plus a statement from the head of Shady Pines saying that Jan was now sane and had been discharged from the facility. Nicole looked completely beaten down.

Back at the hospital, Shawn and Belle continued their discussion about Philip being back in Salem. Belle said that it was a good thing that Jan was locked up in a looney bin. Suddenly, Jan walked up and said, “Belle, as usual, you have no idea what you are talking about.”
