Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, September 23, tease that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will make a bold move. After Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) shows off the cowboy hat Bonnie bought him, he’ll share a few laughs with Bonnie and make some comments that are almost flirty. Bonnie will take that as her cue to plant a steamy kiss on Justin, so he’s sure to be caught off guard.
Justin may pull away in the end, but he’ll be battling feelings for Bonnie deep down. While Justin mulls over those feelings, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will get Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) on his side.
Kristen was against the idea of Brady taking the fall for her, but he’ll explain his reasons and get Kristen to go along with his plan on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will return with some bad news. Brady’s been assuming the DA will be sympathetic to the situation he’s facing with Kristen, but he doesn’t realize Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) has been reinstated.
Of course, Melinda is the mother of Haley Chen (Thia Megia) – the innocent nurse who was killed thanks to Kristen’s wild outburst at the hospital.
As DOOL fans might expect, DA Trask is going to give Brady’s plea a hard pass! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Melinda will be determined to make Kristen suffer for causing Haley’s death. There won’t be anything Belle can say to change Melinda’s mind, so Brady’s efforts to take the fall aren’t going to pan out.
While Kristen’s history comes back to bite her, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will share a tender moment with her son. Days spoilers say Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will hand Baby Boy Horton over to Allie, so that’ll bring a sweet scene that perhaps leaves her torn.
Allie may have to wonder if Sami’s right about pushing her to raise her own son.
Even so, another part of Allie just won’t feel like she’s ready for motherhood. Things will remain complicated for Allie while Sami pays Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) a visit.
DOOL spoilers say Eric will urge Sami to negotiate with her daughter and take a step from the drama. Space is exactly what Allie needs right now, so Sami will ultimately accept that.
Once Sami returns to the DiMera mansion, she’ll pitch Eric’s new plan. Allie and Sami will reach an agreement where Sami allows Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) to raise the baby – but only if Allie moves back in with her. Sami will get her wish of Allie’s involvement, and Allie will get her wish of Nicole looking after the kid, too.
In exchange, Sami will promise to go back to Rome alone. She needs to be with EJ DiMera (last played by James Scott) and her other kids, so Sami will prepare to leave Salem later this week.
As for Eric, Wednesday’s episode September 23 is his final airdate and will mark the end of the line. After Eric puts out the latest Sami fire, he’ll have to tell Nicole goodbye. Days of Our Lives spoilers say it isn’t going to be easy!
Nevertheless, Nicole and Eric will agree this isn’t forever. After Eric kisses Nicole one last time, he’ll head out to catch his flight to the Congo. There are no plans for Eric’s return at this point, but let’s hope that’ll change down the road! We’ll provide updates as other DOOL details emerge.
